The homestay is run by an Ex-Defense personnel, whose cooperative and warm nature adds to the overall experience. The location by the river adds a peaceful, natural beauty that truly enhances the stay, with the gentle sound of the flowing Alaknanda always in the background. Very clean place with lots of space, great view of river (listening to river while sleeping was very peaceful) and home cooked food was delicious! Host was very helpful to me. I am from USA and do not speak Hindi and needed help to get to next destination, he waited at the road for me to get bus and made sure I had the correct one. He was very kind, thank you!
