After the first night there, I booked into another hotel.
After the first night there, I booked into another hotel. I couldn't wait to get out of that depressing atmosphere. I had to stay in my room for a long time each day to work, but it was too depressing to be in such a dilapidated room. It was filthy & mattress worn out. Tiles were cracked. Do not waste your $ on such a filthy place. REceptionist doesn't understand English. I had to write it on a piece of paper for her to read. It is not a hotel set up for tourist. After the first night there, I went to the counter & barked at the receptionist, "Checking out. Not happy here." She asked me to see the manager, but I couldn't be bothered. It was fairly a clean area. The wall arts were a feast to travellers . Malls in this area were also well facilitated. This is a village, NOT APART OF MUMBAI. The people here were very pleasant but not prepared for visitors. There are not many options for shopping and eating.
