Yercaud is a small hill station with limited sightseeing spots, but what truly sets it apart is its extraordinary climate. Even during the peak of summer, you’ll experience cool breezes, a cloudy sky, and occasional unexpected showers that make the atmosphere incredibly refreshing.
While the number of tourist attractions might leave you wanting more, the serene environment and natural charm more than make up for it. A day or two is perfect to explore and enjoy what Yercaud has to offer without feeling rushed.
The roads are well-maintained, and the scenic drive through lush greenery adds to the overall experience.
However, the food scene is average—you may not find high-quality or diverse options, so plan accordingly if you're particular about meals.

Nice place , excellent weather and most important less crowded unlike Ootty / Kodaikanal. Since , I reached there in the evening and spend only one night couldn't explore the place , the way I wanted.

It's a nearest hill station from Bangalore, someone can actually go Yercaud with an Activa or scooty from Bangalore.
Will recommend Yercaud as a weekend getaway for people from Bangalore and Tamilnadu

After 20 Hairpins drive you reach Yarcaud.
After 20 Hairpins drive you reach Yarcaud.
Try to check in hotel at least by 12 PM, else extend stay for one more night to enjoy the cool weather (Google for best time). There are no five star hotels over there, prices may in range of INR 2000 - 7000 / 2 pax.

Would recommend for 3 days stay. Dont go on long weekends. You will face traffic jam and lose valuable time. Boating is good. Peeku place charge 300 per person is very high. Rose garden is good. No Atm has cash. Gpay doesn't work due to connectivity issue. So carry enough cash. Food is somewhat expensive. Stay at a hotel away from the town crowd.

I stayed here for a day. I made late check in, the hotel management was waiting for our arrival even at late night 11 pm. The check in and check out process was smooth and hassle free. The staff boy helped us for car parking and lift the luggages for us . The staffs room service and house keeping was superb. The room with view was excellent with coffee plantation view. The toileteries like towels, soap, dental kit were furnished. Early morning with Misty view of coffee plantation and birds chirping sounds like PARADISE.

Beautiful lush greenery view from room was amazing. The restroom are neat and hygeine.
The basic amenities like toiletries, free wifi, car parking area available. The staffs warm hospitality and their kind behaviour liked a lot.
