Everything was spotlessly clean and the kitchen well equipped. There is no TV or radio there. We had a patio overlooking the fields towards the Westman islands. It is close to the major attractions in the South. The hostess was nice and upgraded us to the summerhouse due to a sudden cancellation. The price is just wright. We stayed two nights. In the morning we woke up to bird song.

Located in Hvolsvöllur, 12 km from Hella, Uxahryggur provides a garden and free WiFi. We liked everything. The house is very comfortable and cosy. It’s a perfect place to see the northern light. You can even stay inside if it’s to cold as it has windows all around you. Loved the bird life just in front.
