Everything about our stay was exceptional, the house was clean, the room was spacious and I can’t even begin to mention the bathroom. I’m so sad we couldn’t enjoy the breakfast on both days we were there, because the food was delicious! the host was even kind enough to message us about the possibility of seeing the aurora, super thoughtful.

The breakfast was very nice, the surroundings are beautiful even though we were not lucky with the weather. The staff was super helpful and the hotel was beautiful and cosy. All details were thought of in the interior and spa was super nice even though it could have been a bit cleaner.

couldn’t say enough great things about this place! great location and tons of space! free breakfast was a huge bonus. the first night we stayed we were the only guest, second night there was another set of guest staying on the opposite side of the building. hot tub was amazing!

The property was amazing. Anna welcomed us when we arrived and told us we could walk and explore all over their property (incredible waterfall, fields, nature to see). LOVED this place so much. Right off of the ring road so perfect for those who are driving along it. Two hot tubs available for guests to use.

The cottage locates between the Seljalandsfoss and the Skógafoss so we were able to visit both falls twice in two days. The view outside the cottage is also excellent. The cottage is very new and the hosts are very friendly. We can feel that they put lots of effort into this cottage. Highly recommend this place!

I would have liked to have more time to get up in the mountains and hike, visit the glacier, and explore Vestmannaeyjar islands. The property was very convenient to explore many attractions, like Skogafoss and Seljalandsfoss, and also not too far for a day trip to Vik.

A perfect place for peace and quiet. A real escape from everything. Ideal for sleeping. Of all the places I've stayed, this was the best. Thank you again for the generous breakfast, which was served in separate boxes in the fridge, one for each room. Sublime... I highly recommend it to everyone.

Location with a beautiful view. Very good breakfast. Dinner is available. Good menu and chef. Relaxed room with private bathroom and toilet. It's about a 2 km drive on a gravel road with lots of potholes. It's a slow drive.

Wonderful surroundings that felt like a very good representation of southern Iceland. Pure, beautiful Iceland :) Nice breakfast and a calm cozy vibe overall. Took us about 2-3 hours to drive to Jökulsárlòn at the biggest glacier Vatnajökull and Diamond Beach from the hotel, beautiful drive as well.

The hotel is conveniently located for travelling along the A1. Rooms very clean. Two hot tubs available outside if you are ready to brave the cold in your towel robe 😉. The pictures and memorabilia illustrating the life and of Anna the traveller are fascinating.

A hotel with history, delicious dishes in the restaurant, warm and clean rooms, rooms with well-equipped kitchens. It was necessary to stay for two nights and take a walk around the interesting area, where there are not as many tourists as in other places.

It exceeded any expectations we had. Very attentive staff, restaurant at the hotel with one of the best meals we had in iceland. Amazing scenery around and very interesting about the hotel and Anna. On top of that very clean rooms and comfy beds.
