The location was perfect in close to Husavik. The view over the harbor was very nice. It has everything we needed and then some. Good communication before and after arrival. The location is above a supermarket but you really did not notice it. But it was very convenient if you needed anything. The washer/ dryer were great.

Very well appointed cabin that is quite isolated for beautiful night time sky viewing! Excellent hot pot, bbq. Sitting area. All very new and comfortable. Even though it is remote, it's still close enough to Húsavík and Akureryi for day trips. Excellent place for nature.. I took the picture in my review lying in the bed! Excellent floor to ceiling windows. I would ask for cabin #1 so you aren't looking out over the other cabins.

Beautiful house right on the pier at Husavik. The main living room window looks out over the harbor with a view of the sea, the mountains and the whale watching ships docked nearby. The house itself is very big and tastefully furnished, with all the amenities needed for a comfortable stay. My family took a lazy night off from touring the area and just enjoyed the house while watching TV and doing the laundry. We didn't have the opportunity to cook since there were great local restaurants nearby, but the kitchen had a complete set of utensils and cookware.
