GermanyThis was the best hotel we stayed in Iceland. The free amenities (Sauna, Hot tub, pool billiard, bathrobe, flip flops, etc.) and the free breakfast were just great. The room was modern and spacious. The northern lights wake up call is a wonderful free service (we didn't have any luck though). The location is incredible across from a volcano walking trail. Seriously, we were so excited when we saw what the hotel offers for such little money (in March). Will definitely stay here again when I return. Thank you!

The facilities were very clean, staff was friendly, and the location was perfect for staying near Myvatan. We loved the concept of sharing a kitchen and bathroom with one other room. We also got to experience the magic of the Northern Lights right outside of our front door. It was truly a great stay and we plan to come back on our next trip!

We visited all the famous sites The Thermal baths was great. A big area (and currently expanding). The restaurant there was very reasonably priced for Iceland. They made a great coffee. And just overall, it has beautiful views of farms and countryside. Both relaxing and exciting. It's a beautiful lava field and lake system. Old volcanos and lava flows. Dimmuborgir is a legendary place where the Yule Lads sleep through the summer. Bear in mind that the summer can have hatches of midges. Krafla Power Station, active geothermal mud pools, Mývatn Nature Baths. If you travel in the winter it's a great place to see the Aurora as practically no light pollution.
