Beatiful cosy place, loads of historical photos on the hallway walls, very nice books about icelandic nature and also wonderful icelandic wool blankets on bed :) Our stay was very nice :)

It was a nice place and we enjoyed a lot the spa and the sauna. It was a nice way to end our vacation in Iceland. The food was okay, but nothing special.
It’s a perfect base for exploring the golden circle and the south coast. There is only 7 km to Hveragerdi and Selfoss, cities with a wide range of shops and restaurants.

The hot tubs were a great experience at the end of a long drive across the Icelandic south coast. There was a slight smell of sulphur to the tap water, so keep that in mind if you are sensitive to such things. A great place to stay during the off-season; a complimentary room upgrade was a very welcoming touch.
Set in Selfoss, 23 km from Thingvellir National Park, Brú Country Estate offers accommodation with a restaurant and free private parking. Guests can use the hot tub, or enjoy mountain views.

The property is warm and friendly, with a family atmosphere. We arrived late and left early, so we didn't get to experience all the estate had to offer. However, it looked like there was much to explore.
Set in Hveragerði in the South Iceland region, INNI - Boutique apartments offers accommodation with free WiFi and free private parking, as well as access to a sauna.

The apartment was excellent, super clean, cooking facilities and everything else were all spot on! The apartment was very well revovated and a lovely cosy place to relax after a long day of exploring. The hot tubs and steam room were a bonus, not many (well priced) places in the area have this!
The apartment was very easy to access with the lock box code provided upon arrival (all self service). Everything in the surrounding town is in walking distance with a few great eateries/bars too!
The ION is a special spot, with a gorgeous view from the Northern Lights bar, where you can sit and unwind after a day of adventure. The restaurant on site is exceptional, serving an amazing breakfast buffet, lunch, and a superb dinner. The selections are excellent, and the food was artistically plated. The room felt spacious, the bed was comfortable, and we had a fabulous sleep. All in all, we would highly recommend the IOn, from its helpful and friendly staff to its gorgeous location.
Isolated location with great facilities (geothermal pool and sauna looking out to the hills). The staff were accommodating with transferring us to their hotel in Reykjavik. Not only that, the hotel in Reykjavik messaged us on WhatsApp if there was an early check in available (which there was). They went above and beyond with our situation. If you are travelling in winter, make sure you have logistics organised or know how to drive in their tough conditions.
This was absolutely the best hotel we stayed in on our 12 day trip around Iceland. It was also the most expensive, but I believe it was worth it. Every other hotel was filled with partying travelers who were too loud all night, and this luxurious hotel was the best sleep we got during out entire trip. Relaxing in the geothermal tub really seals the deal on this hotel--it's worth the extra expense. Very cute bar as well, with tasty drinks.
We were looking forward to our stay at ION and it far exceeded our expectations. Location is remote and beautiful, the rooms are very comfortable, the restaurant was great and appreciated small touches like the welcome drink. But the highlight was when we got the midnight wake up call to go and see the Northern Lights - we could see them even from our room window! Truly spectacular.
The hotel is off the beaten track and surrounded by cool scenery - the road through the Thingvellir National Park is really atmospheric. The hotel itself is comfortable and staff are very welcoming. The food at the restaurant was fab (highly recommend fish of the day and fish of tomorrow!), and the Northern Lights bar was good for a nightcap. Breakfast buffet was lovely.
Really spectacular setting and really friendly staff. The food was also great - one of the best we had in Iceland. We typically don't choose a tasting menu, but we did on our first night here and were very happy that we did. The pool and sauna area was fun and the hikes around the hotel really cool.
Loved the atmosphere and service. Beautiful surroundings. Peaceful. The spa was amazing and used it to every day. Delicious food. Would love to come back again. It was my husbands birthday and the hotel treated us so well with some nice surprises in our room and at dinner. Simply amazing.
The staff is very friendly! You will definitely love the vibes there when you stepped in the hotel. View from the room was great. The northern light wake up call service is fantastic! Thanks to the team so that we able to see the spectacular moment during our stay here!
interior design is perfect, staff is very friendly and helpful😍 They ungraded our room as a present for us, because we were traveling the whole day to the hotel due to difficult road conditions, we really appreciated it❤️
Building, rooms, lobby all very beautiful. Room was descent size, clean, & comfortable. Restaurant was very good. Bar gorgeous views. Hot pool very unique. Prosecco upon arrival- nice touch. Robes and slippers.
The hotel is set in a beautiful location. You feel like there is no one else on earth except for the people at the hotel. The spa was also a big plus for us after a long day of sightseeing.
