Boasting garden views, Kópareykir Cottage provides accommodation with a terrace and a kettle, around 4.3 km from Kleppjárnsreykir. The cottage was furnished with everything we needed, particularly in the kitchen. The view from the windows was stunning. We felt comfortable straight away!

Our own little cabin with lovely views of the farm. We were welcome to walk about the farm and visit the animals as well. Good little bathroom, with a small kitchenette that we cooked dinner in. Very charming.
Cabin 1 at Lundar Farm in Borgarnes provides accommodation with free WiFi, 6.4 km from Síðumúli, 9.2 km from Varmaland and 9.3 km from Stafholt. Wonderful stay! beautiful nature, extremely nice hosts, the cabins are greatly equipped and the horses and dogs are so sweet. I would recommend to stay there more than one night.
There are 2 Reyhkolts in Iceland and this is the more westerly one (the other is on the Golden Circle to the south). We visited Vidgelmir, the lava tube, and it was fabulous! It's cold inside so dress warmly. The guides were all geologists who specialize in this kind of formation and were knowledgeable about both geology and the history of the tube. Krauma geothermal baths and restaurant: the baths were expensive and we didn't go but the restaurant served great food (also expensive as is all food in Iceland).
The property was lovely, very remote in the country side and if you’re going in winter drive carefully. There are plenty of farms nearby, we especially recommend doing a stable visit at the horse farm near reykholt, the rye bread is great! The breakfast was lovely and sitting in the hot tub in the cold was magical.
Hot tub was hot and ready. I like the separate rooms and loft. My daughters are adults snd we all stay up/go to sleep at different times, so separate space is great. The kitchenette was great. We shopped at Bonus in Borgarnes before arriving, and made dinner.
This was our favourite stay in Iceland. It was a great size private cabin with your own hot pot in the middle of nowhere. It was comfortable and the surroundings were beautiful! Would highly recommend!
It was an awesome place, best one we had in Iceland. Very kind hostess Rebecca and a beautiful view from the cottage with awesome skies.

The cabin guesthouse rooms are cozy and private. Perfectly situated between Reykholt and Husafeld.
