CanadaWe loved how cozy the pods were! The price was excellent for Reykjavik. The cafe/kitchen area provided everything we needed to keep and make light meals. Iceland is super expensive to eat out so we liked how we could buy groceries and save on food. We didn’t cook meals but we had yogurt, granola, fruit, noodle cups and sandwiches etc. The bathroom facilities were always kept clean. Staff were helpful and super friendly! Would stay here again for sure!

United StatesLocation was very central. Famous hot dog stand, rainbow street, shopping all a very short walk. Property was so cozy and the room was great and agree with other reviewers - the bed is like a cloud. Heat control in room was good- never cold. Breakfast was fabulous. So many choices and delicious. I wasn’t going to pay the extra but was really glad I did. Very close to Bus Stop so easy for tours and airport transfer. Spa downstairs was fabulous but the room is so comfortable didn’t use but once. Also, 7-11 next door and some drinks etc for sale at the desk. Great experience and so glad I picked this hotel and paid a bit more. Bar area was really nice. And very, very clean!! Loved this hotel!!

The experience itself is very intimate and catered as there are a very limited number of rooms and guests at a time. The staff were very ready to help with absolutely anything at all. The honesty bar is also AWESOME for having some drinks without the fuss of going to a hotel bar - feels just like going to your kitchen to fix a drink at home.

Great city, everyone was very helpful and informative. Very clean easy to get around. Only complant was that it is very expensive. As long as you are prepared for that it is fine
We used artic adventures for most trips. Very good to deal with if you had a problem. Patries with a coffee are a must, they are excellent. Especially the apple crumble.
We ate at hofnin restaurant on harbour twice, foog was excellant

The most impressive experience of Reykjavik is the people. I met many kind people.The owners of the hostel invited me to join in their party and I had a good time. On the road, a young boy helped me to get through the road. The weather was cold but the people were warm. Besides, the most exciting experience came from the nature landscape. The tourism spots were not far from the city by driving. I didn’t rent a car but used the public transportation. Most of the places are accessible.Overall, it was a satisfied experience. Highly recommend sky lagoon, lava show and golden circle tour.

Beautiful city with lots to see and do. Lovely friendly people most of whom speak perfect English. Be aware that prices for food, drink etc. are possibly more expensive than you may be used to, this is not to fleece tourists, its just the way it is. Keep an eye out for pub happy hours though!!

There was much to see in this little capital.
There was much to see in this little capital. We particularly liked the visit to the Harpa Music Hall on the harbour front. There were places to eat within easy walking distance of our accommodation. Reykjavik is a good base if you want to explore the golden circle too.

A fabulous city to visit , lots of interesting places to visit . We were very lucky to have a beautiful weather week & saw the Aurora too .
A visit to Blue Lagoon is a must.
Lots of excellent places to eat & loads do happy hour for a drink .
It is quite expensive city .

Lovely city full of friendly people. Reykjavik is an easy and safe city to walk around. All sights were accessible. Plenty of choice for restaurants and bars. Obviously it is expensive by comparison to many destinations but on holiday sometimes you have to just go for it (I do feel sorry for the locals!). Ideal base for exploring this wonderful and very unique country. I took full day tours to Golden Circle, Blue Lagoon and Volcanic Peninsula. Also a spectacular night tour to see the Northern Lights that I shall remember forever. I'll be back again one day to explore more!

Modern with facilities. It's one of the newer hotels outside Reykjavík city centre. For the price is much better then the expensive ones in the city centre which look out dated / from the past. Also self check in is excellent if you don't want to see the staff or just wat to do everything on your own. I don't see the staff at all when I stay, but for me that's fine.
One of the less times I give 5 start to an hotel ;)

Ha guys, thank you so much, had an amazing time! You would'nt expect that much from a fairly cheap hostel in the heart of Reykjavik, next time I'll come to Iceland I won't even look at any other places to stay, this is now my go to!

Convenient place to stay for a night before or after a flight. Still 40 minutes from the airport but cheaper than most airport hotels. Superior room was a decent size and a little worn in places but it suited us for a 1 night stopover. Room and bathroom was clean. Breakfast was okay. Pretty basic but that is common in most places in Iceland.

The hotel is located 2-3 km away from the heart of Reykjavik. It is very convenient if you have a car (there is a big park in front of the hotel). The room was good and comfortable and the price was quite cheap considering the Icelandic standard. I recommend it.

Good location - 15min walk to the church and the city centre, free parking, cheaper than local hotels (we had a hotel booking cancelled due to strikes so looked elsewhere). Host was welcoming and helpful and breakfast was good.
