Everything was very clean and the rooms were spacious. I have stayed here in the past for work and decided to bring my dad here while he was visiting. Our room had a balcony overlooking the river and it was nice to sit outside while enjoying an ice cream from the ice cream shop located on the other side of the hotel. We also enjoyed an evening at the hotel spa and highly recommend visiting it when staying at the hotel. There is a restaurant in the hotel and a food court across the street. We would stay here again.

The Icelandic Cottage was perfect for our 3 night stay. It was extremely comfortable, quiet, and in a perfect location to explore the wonders of Iceland. Rosa, the host, was very helpful ahead of time with information, with check in, and even supplying non-feather pillows for my daughter who has allergies. The cottage was well stocked with staples of food, coffee, tea, spices and herbs, and even some foods. We loved our stay in Iceland and the cottage made it all the more wonderful. i would strongly recommend it to anyone.
