Spacious, we were alone in the entire Guestouse (that can accommodate 7 people). Kitchen was fully equipped, even provided additional accessories and useful items. The key was in the code protected keybox so we could enter after the agreed check-in hours. Thanks!

The hosts Magnus and Nora were very forthcoming and always there in case of questions. The hot pool directly by the waterfall and the chance of feeding horses and sheep were the icing on the cake.

On the banks of the Vídidalsá River just 3.7 mi from Iceland’s ring road is Dæli Guest house, offering bright modern accommodations with free WiFi in public areas. The place was very remote but easy to find. The food was very good and they had a good breakfast included. Friendly staff. We only stayed one night but it would have been interesting to stay longer. They appeared to have horses and maybe horse shows.
