What charming and lovely hotel. In the middle of nature. Looks like brand new and the decoration is simple and marvelous. Service was attentive and friendly. Long wide windows open to the nature. The breakfast was excellent. Highly recommended.

A good location for a hassle-free holiday in Hallormsstaður, Mjóanes accommodation is a guest house surrounded by views of the lake.

The room was great, in a quiet place not far from our itinerary route. Breakfast was awesome as well. The host gave us a map with the area, told us about the nearby sights and interests, even a nearby hiking route of 4kms. We did it the next morning and it was well worth it.

Beautiful new accommodation in a wooden house. Every little detail is perfectly arranged. Loved walking around the farm and the forest. So quiet and peaceful. Recommend the Vök Baths nearby.

Where to begin...the bar tenders in the attached bar were friendly and helpfully turned us on to the homemade pizza for dinner; the room was small but perfect; breakfast oh boy! The spread of food was astonishing, from the delicious pastries, bread and toasts to the splendid meats, cheeses, herrings, fresh fruits, cereals - the choices kept us coming back for refills. This hotel surpassed all imagination!
