We loved staying at hotel exclusive and were really surprised at how luxurious it was. It was modern and immaculate with a great view of the city. Our host Daniel was very friendly, caring, professional and helpful. We were offered a drink on arrival, being given lots of information about how to get to the temple and spaggia and for letting us leave our luggage there for the day after we checked out. The location was fantastic, right next to the station, bus stop and near all the night life. Wonderful!

Would definitely recommend staying here! We arrived early and the hotel owner checked us in early as our room was ready. Hotel is in excellent location - very close to the station. Staff and owner were very friendly, accomodating, and very helpful. They also helped us with taxis and some Italian and were patient in translating Italian to English. Would definitely recommend and stay again!

The rooms were very modern and clean, as was the pool and other outdoor / indoor areas. Amazing views of sunset from the villa. Staff were so helpful and friendly, we were made to feel very welcome. Good location if you don’t want to be in the centre - this was the perfect base for us to see the main sites in Agrigento via car.

1. This is an old family home - with the loveliest of families surrounded by olive trees, peacocks and doves. Everyone is made personally welcome. 2. Excellent and beautifully prepared food. 3. Charming room full of character. 4. The location is amazing - terrace views across a World Heritage Site to three Greek temples. Stunning at sunset.

Benji and the rest of the staff (shout outs to Calogero and Giuseppe as well) were so wonderful. They were immediately helpful in helping us to park our car on the street and even helping us get out of a parking spot as we left. They were helpful, fun to talk to, all in all, a delight. We will have fond memories of our stay at Le Terrazze.

One thing for sure is that you should be in decent physical shape to walk around Agrigento as it has many hills, and transportation is available. The Greek ruins are a wonderful place to visit. One place you have to visit to eat dinner is Aguglia Persa great seafood and reservations are suggested.
The Valley of the Temples is a must see if you are in Sicily. We had a rental car and got around Agrigento with ease. We had lunch at Expanificio Osteria. We ordered appetizer, first and second courses. The food was just okay, nothing special. In fact, neither one of us hardly ate the first course, pasta dishes = 65 Euros for lunch. The location was very nice - shaded and good for people watching.
We were lucky to stay at the Palacio del Teatro, a lovely , beautifully decorated old town Palacio house, 18 steps up from a quiet bar and small palacio , convenient for off loading luggage and check in before parking car 100 metres away for $8 for 24 hours. Very quiet and only two hundred meters away from the main shopping /eating street. Eat at Mabel, fine dining at reasonable prices. The main archeological sites were only about ten minutes drive away. If you stayed longer then you could visit the sea too. We should have stayed longer !
Visiting the Valley of the Temples was our reason for visiting and a sunset trip did not disappoint. I also thoroughly recommend the Doric Boutique Hotel with its undisputed views of the Temples. Simply stunning location
Agrigento was a beautiful surprise but what I liked the most was the friendlessness of the locals. It has a cute historical city center with nice views, cafés and restaurants. It is also most known for its Valley of the Temples. A journey through the magnificent history of the island. Getting there is not easy without a car and public transport is not totally reliable. However, I will surely be back again for the fine dining experiences and cultural offer!
The Valley of the Temples is definitely the start attraction in Agrigento (and it's vast--so plan to spend several hours, or split over a few days). But there are plenty of other reasons to stay for a few days: The town of Agrigento itself is well worth a visit. Perched on a hill above the temples, with a panoramic view of the sea, there are plenty of terraced cobblestone streets to explore, with wonderful restaurants, pastry/gelato shops and historic sites to explore. The beach is nearby if you fancy a dip in the sea (or just want to sample some super-fresh seafood!)
Agrigento
It was a gorgeous family-run property with fabulous pool and gardens. The breakfast was really, really good- satisfied a 6ft 1’ 16 year old boy, 21yo girl and us. Yoghurt, fresh fruit, condiments, loads of different sweet pastries and panini’s, omelette and of course, capuccino, macchiato, hot choc etc. Gian Carlo is the king - awesome owner. Gave us a fabulous restaurant suggestion, which turned out to be one of oyr best in Sicily. Plus, it is 4 minutes to Valley of the Temples… super close.
Agrigento
The Zeus apartment was absolutely wonderful, the best accomodation we had during our trip to Sicily!! It is completely renovated and spotlessly clean. Beds were very comfortable, and clean linens and towels were provided. The owner met us on arrival to give us keys and a map of Agrigento. He explained some of the highlights of the town. He was extremely thoughtful to provide water and juice and breakfast items. We loved our stay!
Agrigento
I did a tour all over Sicily by myself, but La Perla della Cattedrale surpassed all the b&bs.. I appreciated the kindness and courtesy of Mrs. Crocetta, always available in everything.. I felt at home.. very clean and very comfortable, a bathroom with a fantastic shower .. Watching the sunset from the panoramic terrace while drinking a glass of wine was a moment to remember forever ... Thanks for everything ..
Agrigento
Everything! The breakfast was absolutely delicious, the staff are all incredible humans, the bedroom was super comfortable. Ten to fifteen minutes drive to the Valley of the Temples. The dinner was amazing - I think the best food we had in Sicily! And their house white too. Absolutely loved our stay, our walk through the vineyard... We felt very welcome with our four month old. Thank you for a great stay 🙂
Agrigento
Perfect location, and very central, close to bars and restaurants, and close to all the popular streets in Agrigento. Perfect place to get a real sense of Sicily The host was very friendly, and kindly provided all the useful information I needed to make my visit unforgettable. The room was super clean, spacious and very well presented, with super fast wifi available. Highly recommended 😊
Agrigento
We’ve found everyone in Sicily very friendly, and that includes everyone at all the hotels we’ve stayed at, but the welcome at Giafra still stands out. Friendly, helpful, generous and generally lovely. And the place is very comfortable and smart, well-appointed, with excellent breakfasts (with beautifully decorated cappuccinos). We’d stay there again very happily, and hope we will.
Agrigento
The hosts Francesco and Susi were amazing, very helpful and friendly, and gave us a personalized stay. The house is spectacular, redone in a beautiful style whilst mainting it's unique identity. The room was beautiful, with views to the temples from the bed. Best breakfast we have had in Sicily, and was very varied. Definitely will stay here if we visit this area again.
Agrigento
I can’t say enough about the breakfast. Our best and most authentic meal of the day and each day Sandro packed a snack bag that more than kept us going on our road trips. Much of it from his farm! Fabio is a delightful host - went out of his way to guide us to Casa Tita and make us feel right at home. Sincere and welcoming. Best stop on our 10 days in Sicily.
Agrigento
The stay was magical with a balcony and view over the city rooftops & church towers…the swallows were everywhere. The breakfast was perfect with THE BEST TIRAMISU I have ever had! The staff were incredibly friendly and served your choice of coffee every morning with breakfast. THANK YOU for making our Sicily trip so memorable. We would love to return!
Agrigento
Dario was very welcoming and ensured that we had everything we needed both at the villa and in Agrigento. The breakfast was delicious and plentiful, with fresh cannoli to boot! We stayed in a suite with a beautiful terrace that overlooked the garden. Dario was kind in bringing us espresso and cookies to enjoy on the lovely terrace!
Agrigento
The best accommodation we had in our road trip from Sicily. The only regret I have is that we only stayed one day. The location is excellent, and room no.1 is the best with see view balcony and a very beautiful design. If we return to Agrigento we will definitely stay here again. I highly recommend this place!
Agrigento
Beautiful property, amazing pool and views of the Sicilian hills. Great location, just 10 minutes outside of Agrigento, perfect for visiting The Valley of the Temples. The owner Giuseppe was super accommodating and helpful, thank you again for a wonderful stay!
Agrigento
Excellent breakfast! Nice room with A/C. Very nice staff, they let us leave our luggage during the day even after the check out, which is something other hotels don't allow in Sicily. Great location, in the city centre but quite silent at night.
Agrigento
Large room with a comfortable bed and great shower. very nice breakfast. location is on the main walking street of Agrigento near restaurants and the best ice cream shop. owner picked us up at the bus station which was very helpful.
Agrigento
Very clean. Close to the center. Marko was polite and flexible with check out. After 5 different accomodations across the Sicily La casa di fili was the last one and also the best one. Everything was great.
Agrigento
Nice agriturismo hotel on the outskirts of Agrigento. In a quiet pretty location. Great on-site restaurant. Terrific breakfast.
Very efficient hotel. Parking is available across the street. it’s perfect for an overnight to see Agrigento
