From the lovely terrace we could look through a lush garden to the Greek temples, which were within easy walking distance. The room was fine and the family who ran the B&B were very helpful and friendly. Finding the place was a bit tricky but ultimately not a problem.
The city is full of traffic. We walked straight up from the hotel and found a great pedestrian street with churches, art gallery and gourmet food shops, and a bakery, organic food store. Don’t miss the temples, of course. The Scala dei Turchi are only 10mins away
I loved it, and wish we had stayed longer. I think our room was lovely and I would of liked to spent more time at the pool. It would be fantastic if there was s full service Spa at this location. It seems like a perfect place to meditate, do yoga, eat healthy and bake in the sun. Also a place for wine tasting, cooking classes, olive oil tasting, culinary classes and local art classes. The location calls out for off season learning classes with a view. I think there is a special place and a someone needs to market this idea a include m. The Valley of the Temples contained ancient Greek Temples, some in very good condition. It was a huge site with good walking surfaces. There were cafes and toilets. Well worth a visit. Agrigento can be reached using a two hour regular service bus from Palermo which cost only nine Euros each in March 2023.
Great little town , perched on a hillside with great restaurants and shopping. The perfect venue for your tour of the Valley of Temples, which is truly fantastic. One of the best preserved Greek temples, outside of Athens, Greece. Truly a must see place, when touring Sicily.
Ruins worth seeing. They changed a lot about entry. Taxis €3 to take you up so you can walk down. We arrived about 3 pm but my husband did not want to see the ruins then. We are going mid morning after checking out of B&B
Agrigento
Free parking a few minutes walk away in front of the Cathedral. Very nice people. Breakfast as in most of Sicily is sweet pastries. But if you request eggs they will serve them. Great coffee. The girl who makes the breakfast and cleans is very sweet. Room was nice. Good bathroom. Good wifi. About 10 minutes walk downhill to restaurants and town centre. Nothing near the B&B. A steep climb back up. Fine for us as we don't have any mobility problems. There is a car park very near the centre so that is an option
Agrigento
An exceptional place all around. Great location. This is the family home of the owner and you really feel like a guest of the family. We had a tastefully furnished room that was very comfortable. Benji is an extraordinary and helpful host - he is enthusiastic about Sicily and his town of Agrigento, its sights, culture and food and tries to pass that on to you. The breakfast is terrific with Benji introducing you to local specialities on a sun drenched rooftop terrace with views of the temples. A great place!
Agrigento
This B&B was a home away from home. We had an exceptional time while staying here and the best sleep we had in the whole of Sicily. Rosanna was a hospitable host and could not do enough for us. We had a delicious breakfast with plenty of options. The room was stylish and sparkling clean. The facilities and amenities were second to none. This property was perfect for visiting Agrigento. We would stay here again and again!
Agrigento
We’ve found everyone in Sicily very friendly, and that includes everyone at all the hotels we’ve stayed at, but the welcome at Giafra still stands out. Friendly, helpful, generous and generally lovely. And the place is very comfortable and smart, well-appointed, with excellent breakfasts (with beautifully decorated cappuccinos). We’d stay there again very happily, and hope we will.
Agrigento
The most prettiest B&B we had in Sicily!! Also Marina gave us the warmest welcome ever!! Everything is very modern and new! There is a waterbottle for each person in the fridge and coffee for free, also we received a voucher for a complimentary breakfast in a nearby cafe due to COVID. Located In the „no-traffic-Zone“ of Agrigento But a paid parking lot it close by!
Agrigento
The room was beautiful, clean, and in a good location. One of the better breakfasts we had I Sicily with quality pastries & savory breads. Communication with host is excellent. Best thing was Ottavio who went out of his way to meet us down the street as the road was closed due to a festival. He thank goodness saved us a parking spot.
Agrigento
This apartment is the most spacious of all the one we've been in Sicily. Totally renovated and very nicely designed. The only place I do not need to pay parking fee. Location is close to old town and 6 minutes drive to Valley of temples. Big windows and balconies with sea view and Valley of temples. Highly recommended
Direct access to the agrigento site - hotel sells tickets to the heritage park. Great Benefit to visitors. Clean everything - toiletries, bed, even provided sleepers. The only place that did in winter in Sicily where the floors were covered in stone and were permanently cold. Hot water and warm in the room.

Very modern hotel room. Very nice room. There is no reception, to enter you receive codes from the owner via Whats App. You have to park your car on the main street, but there is enough space. Parking is not expensive, 2.50 Euro for 4 hours

Big, confortable and very well equiped appartment, right in the center of Agrigento. Parking in the street was free and easy. The owner welcomed us with beer, water and delicious cannoli. Thank you so much. It was our best stay in Sicily!
Agrigento
The hotel is a renovated and redesigned old Italian farmhouse. It’s located a short drive from the valley of the temples, the Turkish staircase, and old town Agrigento. The facilities were modern, clean, and as advertised.
Agrigento
it’s in the best part of agrigento, very central, the hosts are a little younger than usual (they just started) but they were really nice and i didn’t miss a thing, they also ask which kind of breakfast you prefer
Agrigento
Great place to stay near the house of the famous writer Pirandello and very close to the Valley of the Temples, one of the most important places to visit in Sicily. The rooms are awesome!

The rooms were stylish and tasteful to every detail. It's clear that the owners take pride in the hotel they built themselves. I loved it.
