B&B Villa San Marco is located actually in Agrigento's Valle dei Templi, only 1640 feet from the major Greek temples. Its large garden includes a swimming pool. Such a great place! Located near Agrigento with a view on the temples. But more than this, such a nice family that manages this B&B. We have traveled the tour of Sicily, but this was by far our best experience. And let's not forget the animals that live there, especially Tito the dog... this little guy stole my heart :-)

Would definitely recommend!

From the lovely terrace we could look through a lush garden to the Greek temples, which were within easy walking distance. The room was fine and the family who ran the B&B were very helpful and friendly. Finding the place was a bit tricky but ultimately not a problem.
The city is full of traffic. We walked straight up from the hotel and found a great pedestrian street with churches, art gallery and gourmet food shops, and a bakery, organic food store. Don’t miss the temples, of course. The Scala dei Turchi are only 10mins away
The Valley of the Temples contained ancient Greek Temples, some in very good condition. It was a huge site with good walking surfaces. There were cafes and toilets. Well worth a visit. Agrigento can be reached using a two hour regular service bus from Palermo which cost only nine Euros each in March 2023.
Great little town , perched on a hillside with great restaurants and shopping. The perfect venue for your tour of the Valley of Temples, which is truly fantastic. One of the best preserved Greek temples, outside of Athens, Greece. Truly a must see place, when touring Sicily.
Ruins worth seeing. They changed a lot about entry. Taxis €3 to take you up so you can walk down. We arrived about 3 pm but my husband did not want to see the ruins then. We are going mid morning after checking out of B&B
Agrigento's main attraction is the Valley of the Temples, but it is also a good location from which you can explore other historic towns, locations and features in the region - and beaches, too. It also has a number ofvery good restaurants, serving Sicilian cuisine at very reasonable prices.
Agrigento
Free parking a few minutes walk away in front of the Cathedral. Very nice people. Breakfast as in most of Sicily is sweet pastries. But if you request eggs they will serve them. Great coffee. The girl who makes the breakfast and cleans is very sweet. Room was nice. Good bathroom. Good wifi. About 10 minutes walk downhill to restaurants and town centre. Nothing near the B&B. A steep climb back up. Fine for us as we don't have any mobility problems. There is a car park very near the centre so that is an option
Agrigento
This place feels like it was a former palace. impeccably renovated with admirable taste, it gave us a luxurious feeling for what life must have been like for the very wealthy in gorgeous Agrigento. The hosts came out to receive us quite late at night, explained everything, gave us a map with the town’s highlights and pointed us to a fantastic restaurant, EXpanificio, just down the street. Our stay was almost dream-like.
Agrigento
The host was amazing. She would go above and beyond to help you and to find you suitable solution for your stay. The breakfast was very good with typical Sicilian food (sweet and salty). It was close to the lungomare, so at night you didn’t need to take the car and move around. The room was new and with all the amenities needed for a comfortable stay. I would certainly go again if I go again in Sicily.
Agrigento
the best thing about Villa Diana is Dario and his sister. so warm and charming and doing anything and everything to make your stay perfect. the house is quirky but in a good way, and the breakfast is incredible. definitely ask him to make a reservation at one of the best pizza restaurants in Sicily for you. we loved meeting him and would stay again for sure.

Staying at this B&B is like staying in a museum. It's full of amazing art and antiques, and Francesco is a wonderfully warm and engaging host. Probably our favorite accommodations in Sicily, and made our stay in Agrigento very memorable! Thank you, Francesco!
