Villa Bossa

Hotel in Amalfi

Set in Amalfi, Villa Bossa offers beachfront accommodation 150 metres from Castiglione Beach and offers various facilities, such as a bar, a shared lounge and a garden. It was clean, spacious, aesthetically done. There was a very personal feel to the whole experience — the small things were really taken care of. Dino himself was very good — his attention to each and every detail meant all our needs were taken care of — whether it be organising transport or finding great places to eat or where to go. An amazing stay.

NH Collection Grand Hotel Convento di Amalfi 5 stars

Hotel in Amalfi

This cliff-top hotel in Amalfi is a converted 13th-century monastery. It offers free WiFi, ultra-modern rooms and an infinity pool overlooking the Mediterranean Sea. The place was absolutely amazing! To start with, I rarely write these kind of reviews, but the hotel was so amazing and staff so great so I feel obliged to help their business. To give you some background, what kind of travelers we are - we fly to the most exotic places on earth and live in the most exotic and expensive hotels. We get annoyed, if the bed in business on the plane is too narrow or not closed off enough from the public. Having been to a number of Four Seasons, One and Only, Ritz hotels around the world, including in the Maldives where we paid 4,000 USD a night, we have concluded that this hotel probably provided the most blissful and breathtaking experience we have ever had. First the hotel is situated perfectly, right in the center, near to all, but high up on the mountain (you need to take 3 elevators to get up). This provides proximity and stunning view (I would say unparalleled to anything we have seen before). Maybe closest one in completely panoramic views is Post Ranch Inn in Big Sur, where simple sea view rooms start at 3,000+ USD per night. The real gem of the hotel is the junior suite with Jacuzzi, which has a panoramic terrace that is 7*10m. Furthermore, the hotel is located int he old 12-th century monastery and has loads of private benches patios etc, gardens. Each space is unique and can be yours for the evening (there are way more of these spaces then guests, due to unique property setting). The staff was super helpful and worked on our private DHL delivery that was delayed in a very personal way. Room service was great and every time we asked for something it took literally 60 seconds for a guy to be with glasses or ice bucked at our door. Maybe the only difference to some of the really luxury chains are the rooms. We can's lie and say they are exactly perfectly planned with a thought through decor and diligence of the Four seasons, but completely nice and this is also the Italian style. One of the best trips we been on!

Hotel Marina Riviera 4 stars

Hotel in Amalfi

The Hotel Marina Riviera features a terrace overlooking the Mediterranean Sea, a Turkish bath, and a sensory shower. The hotel is on Amalfi's seaside promenade, 250 metres from the Cathedral. The hotel is definitely the best you can get in Amalfi for a self planned trip. It has its own private parking with a driver who pick your car at the entrance (parking in Amalfi Coast in general is a nightmare) and then you can very easily move around, everything you can imagine is walk distance, the two beaches, the restaurants and the marina, where you can get a boat (EUR 9) to Positano, Sorento, etc. I would definitely choose to stay in Amalfi as in my opinion is nicer than Positano. The hotel itself is gorgeous, amazing views and extremely helpful and friendly staff - which is also hard to find in Italy. Breakfast views are breathtaking. You even have USB charger at the toilet lol
