Clean, comfortable and friendly hosts. Great location with fantastic views. Outdoor swimming pool was lovely although a bit chilly in May. Lovely gardens. Breakfast was provided and as we were hiking the hosts made sandwiches for us. An evening meal was also available

I stayed at this hotel for 2 days to visit autumn in Barbagia. The holiday was held in the neighboring village of Dezulo. Matteo was very hospitable, he took me to Desulo. The hotel had a wonderful dinner in the restaurant on the ground floor. Breakfast is included. The room had heating. You even took me to the airport for free! Thank you for your concern! You are the best! Hello Matteo and his dad!

This was already my third stay at Sa Muvara hotel. It's a lovely place: located a bit remotely, but very quietly in the mountains, with a stunning view. The rooms are spacious, with comfortable, big beds and modern bathrooms. We had a huge balcony with sun beds. The pool area is perfect for relaxing, swimming and having a drink. The food is excellent and the staff is very attentive.

The review by the guest, Elisa, on 3 May 2025, describes La Baita perfectly. Some other reviews mention the entrance gate. Yes it is narrow but you should expect a bit of difficulty in getting into paradise!

Thanks to Angelina for the amazing stay. We had a very good time there. The house is cosy with a warm and vibrant soul, while it has been newly renovated and provides confort in bedroom and nice modern bathroom. We were absolutely delighted with this accommodation. Great location, fabulous views across town and the valley. We were above the clouds at one point which was very striking. Our host was wonderful, great communication, delicious biscuits and local bread was a lovely touch, we bought more on our departure! Accommodation was clean, very well appointed and overall very much exceeded our expectations.

Our second visit to S’Armidda. Luciana and Marco have created a wonderful place to stay. There are plenty of places to see and things to do round about but this time we just liked to sit on the shady veranda terrace, amongst trees of the cherry orchard, looking out over the countryside. S’Armidda means thyme in the Sardinian language, and the Timo (thyme in Italian) is the name of the friendly little dog who is ever present company sitting at your feet on the veranda. At over 1000 metres high, the air is clear and the only sounds are of birds and cow bells. At 8pm Luciana serves the evening meal to her extended family and all the guests who have arranged for it. Sitting at long tables, she has prepared the feast, in huge quantities, from fresh local ingredients, much of which is produced on the farm. The meal goes on into the evening with family and guests of all nationalities getting to know one another in happy conversation. We hope to keep returning in the future.
