Lovely hotel in the Sardinia countryside with views over the mountains. Great pool and nice jacuzzi (not hot) with a waterfall shower. The hotel helped us get to the local archaeological sites using their transport when we couldn’t hire bicycles.
Located right next door to the Aquadream water park, Hotel La Jacia is within a 10-minute walk of the beach.

Nice room, comfortable bed. Lovely staff, great breakfast buffet. Nice location. Enjoyed having a drink on the terrace looking over the ocean. Expensive compared to other places for a cocktail though.

The beds are very comfortable. However, it got a bit chilly at night and our duvet didn't have a cover.
Breakfast was nice. I was only missing a bit of vegetables

I visited Baja Sardinia in the end of September. This is very nice little town with few restaurants and cafes. I enjoyed my stay, however I recommend to rent a car to visit other places. I would pick Golfo Aranci or Porto Cervo next time

It's a tourist trap with prices to match; there are good restaurants, but little to differentiate them as the same menu items appear again and again. There is no local supermarket or even grocery shop - you need to walk about 20 minutes for that if you don't have a car.

Beautiful safe beach. Small community in very good order.
Beautiful safe beach. Small community in very good order. Commercialism not oppressive. Markets. Tasteful architecture blending with surroundings. However I would avoid at peak seasons because it gets crowded. Not cheap.

Baja Sardinia is all about the beach during the day and the bars/restaurants at night. The beach is soft sand with easy access into crystal clear waters. It can get choppy when it’s windy, but on a calm warm day the water is delightful. The depth increases very gradually so is safe for children and less adept swimmers alike.
The town has several great restaurants and bars, easily enough to eat somewhere different every night for a week. Personal favourites include Foodie (relaxed atmosphere with really great food at sensible prices), Pizzeria Sole Mare (casual pizzeria with great staff), Ristorante Corbezzolo (great menu, very friendly staff, upstairs so not accessible to disabled) and Ristorante Il Guscio (great atmosphere when it busy - sit outside by the olive tree and under the lights - great pasta). There are many more to choose from with varying demands on the wallet. There are several wine and cocktail bars, all lively and usually with music - sometimes live. If you are into wine, especially Sardinian, I recommend Il Vigneto di Bacco. A lovely little wine bar with outdoor seating right on the front.
There are other activities including boat trips and diving all available to be booked in the town.
Overall a great place to stay if you want to chill on the beach (or by a pool if your accommodation has one), eat well, drink well and just relax. Oh, and there are live music sessions held on the ‘stage’ in the middle of the main promenade. These usually start quite late so can be enjoyed with and after dinner drink at one of the bars.

Beautiful resort.
Beautiful resort. Variety of restaurants excellent (but a lot of seafood on the menu). Not the easiest location if you want to explore the island. The buses are quite scarce. You really need a car to see Sardinia, the archaeological sites etc. Perhaps a few more excursions leaving from Baja Sardinia would be good. And the transfer to hotel from Olbia airport was eye-wateringly expensive!

This place has some excellent people on their staff- Marzia-Thomas at the reception were always very helpful, friendly, professional and kind. The chefs are amazing the food was delicious. The waiters, although understaffed for the amount of people that unexpectedly must have arrived due to COVID19, were all friendly, professional and attentive.

Great hotel with a very relaxing vibe. We stayed here for 5 nights in a room with a direct view to the sea. The staff was very friendly and they cleaned the room everyday. The biggest plus was the location, the cleanliness of the rooms, the pool and the overall relaxed atmosphere. We also enjoyed the breakfast and the hotel was not too busy in the beginning of September when we visited. When going to the beach we could just leave our keys at the reception and in the mornings we enjoyed the nice pool which had a great temperature to swim too.
This property has potential but needs work. The outdoor terrace is lovely and overlooks the ocean. It just wasn’t particularly tidy and you share the balcony with others so it’s a bit unclear what is your space and not so private with people walking through. It’s in a good location and very short walk to beach and main town. The apartment is a good size and was reasonable on price for area.
The best things about the place are the views and all staff. In particular with Paolo was super nice and Raul was really professional and friendly with the client always helping in everything. Sure we will back to the hotel in the future. Nice food, clean rooms, perfect time for relax.
Hotel setting by the beach with the restaurant facing the sea is lovely.
We got a free upgrade which we appreciated. One of our room has a lovely facing the sea.
