What a beautiful and quaint little boutique hotel! We loved the views, the hotel. Staff were very kind and accommodating. We had a fabulous time taking the cooking class from the local chef. The room was comfortable, and the amenities were modern. The restaurant overlooking the lake was wonderful. We would highly recommend!

Everything was so nice! The room with the balcony overlooking the lake. The breakfast on our balcony. The staf was exceptional, esspecially Jessica. She goes the extra mile to accommodate your every wish and she is super efficient! Also the girls in the bar/breakfast room were so helpful and kind. I would stay here definitely again!

Exceptional place to spend some days discovering all Lago Como has to offer. The apartment is spacious, super clean, great location, and so so comfortable. We were there with our two kids, a 2-year-old and a 4months baby and we couldn't ask for more. Really great either for families , friends or a romantic trip. I highly recommend it. Francesca was a wonderful host, always kind and helpful. We will be definitely coming back

Love the location and the area. The apartment was perfectly located on the lake and Bellano is a cute little town that is not over crowded with tourists,,, I prefer that. Was very happy with my 2 days there.

Our stay in Bellano was absolutely perfect. The apartment is just 3 minutes from the train station, yet located in a quiet and peaceful building with easy access. It’s compact but has everything you need, including air conditioning. The host was incredibly thoughtful—Ivana stocked the place with water, basic food, even first aid supplies, and welcomed us with a bottle of wine. She also provides clear, detailed check-in instructions, including videos, which made our arrival completely stress-free. Everything was super clean and well organized, and communication with her was flawless from start to finish. We especially enjoyed the small terrace with lounge chairs, where we spent our last afternoon reading with the sound of birds all around. There’s a public beach and a Conad supermarket just 5 minutes away on foot. We slept deeply and in total silence every night. We truly felt at home and cared for. Highly recommended!

The accommodation is run by a lovely couple. They were super friendly and keen to show us the surroundings. The room was clean and they provided an included daily cleaning service, which we did not expect. Also they have bicycles and beach chairs that you can use. Close to Varenna and the Villa Monastera - one of the main Como attractions. Definitely recommend.

    Bellano is an amazing place to visit.

    Bellano is an amazing place to visit. Absolutely beautiful and so easy to get around on the ferry. Restaurants are close by aswell as supermarkets. TBH I could just sit and look out at the amazing views all day long!

    Pretty town, not too hilly like some of the villages. Beautiful lake front with wonderful views from various different spots on the lake. Only down side was that, not being one of the major villages, ferries were less frequent than we envisaged and when arriving at a larger village one had to immediately queue for ages for return tickets. So visitors need to allow for this and make sure they know the times and destinations of ferries in advance. We ate in a very pleasant restaurant on the lake front called Cavalla Bianco one night and visited the Orrido gorge which was stunning and with a fascinating history.

    I was pleasantly surprised with this little town.

    I was pleasantly surprised with this little town. Apart from the waterfront which is pretty and flowery, the little alleys going inside carry a medieval atmosphere with its unpainted corridors streets. The Gorge of Orrido is a must to visit and music to the ears with the rush of the water coming down the surface of the hill. Magic! Also it is a good place to stay to visit the upper side of the lake which is less touristic and still authentic.

    Beautiful place, easily accessible by train and ferry. Nicely located for easy access to bigger/more touristy places like Verenna and Bellagio, but away from the hustle and bustle. Lovely restaurants and hotels close by. Would highly recommend using as a base to see Lake Como and as a relaxing stay in itself.

    Small town, good choice of restaurants, bars & ice-cream shops. Passenger ferry useful to access main area, not a lot to see - but good for a base to explore rest of Lake Como, as not as busy/ touristy as other larger towns.

    We saw the best and worst of Bellano.

    We saw the best and worst of Bellano. We had torrential rain on day 1 that curtailed our sightseeing but the sun returned on day 2 and we saw the sights and had a swim in the lake. It has lots of nice places to eat or have a coffee. We didn't have time to use the ferry service which enables you to explore other lakeside towns. So we plan to return in the future.

    We absolutly loved our stay in the appartment! Good communication and absolutley outstanding written instructions from the host regarding the appartment. It is well equipped with all kitchen utensils and other stuff you might need. Very comfortable beds!. When the wifi didnt work Diagora responed promptly and the matter was quickly resolved. We strongly recommend this accomodation if you visit Bellano, which you should. Lovely town at Lake Como. /Sara, Fredrik and Simon

    We really liked our host Enzo who picked us up from the station. The room was large and lovely and we had access to tea and coffee. The view of Lake Como from our outdoor area was stunning. We really like Bellano as it was a "real" town with a real community and not just about tourists. You can just hop on a ferry or train for a quick trip to anywhere around the lake.

    First time staying on East side of Lake Como and relieved we did this as Bellagio and Varenna have nowbecome unaffordable, been ruined by overtourism, and unfortunately lost their Italian charm. Bellano remains an Italian town with good options to visit these other touristy places

    Everything about the property is great! It’s filled with all the necessary amenities, has beautiful views from the balcony, and is located within walking distance to the ferry station, train station, and just central Bellano in general.

    Absolute classic Italian lake hotel that you dream of. We chose the hotel because of its position on Lake Como but when we were brought to our rooms we were bowled over by the view. The whole experience was perfect.
