The property is at an amazing location with the most gorgeous views of the lake including from the rooms. You can literally walk out of your room to a small private beach area and swim in the lake. The staff at the hotel was most courteous and helpful with all the requests. Loved the in house restaurant and the very friendly staff, with a good breakfast spread. Absolutely recommend this quaint property away from the crowded touristy areas for a serene vacation.

We loved our stay at Villa Rêverie! It's a beautiful hotel in Bellano, away from the typical tourist areas in Lake Como area. The staff went above and beyond and were so friendly! They were just amazing. The location was perfect because it was quiet and away from the typical tourist areas. The rooms were great with a wonderful view. The bed was comfortable and the pillows were actually the best we've had in a hotel! Can't recommend this hotel enough! We would definitely go back.

Literally we liked everything, wonderful amazing place. Breathtaking view Super clean Helpful and kind staff. Before booking i had my fears because there were no reviews on booking, but now I’m happy that I’m the first one to review this hidden amazing place. Above all it’s very near to the train station and boats station. The is the best place that we’ve ever stayed. Best holiday house ever, literally you’ll find everything ready, fully equipped kitchen, washing machine, coffee maker, pates,….etc

To start with the owners provided literally everything you can dream of: Prosecco, herbal tea, chips, all possible utensils, tampons... List goes on. The location is just perfect. Quiet, still close to everything. ATM... Well, bank is according to GPS 9 m away, Don't miss a cute bench right on the shore: perfect location for a quiet read. Supermarket is 5 min away, all restaurants probably 7 to 10 min away. The bus stop to take you along this incredible shore is 3 min away. Ferry is 5 min away. I could continue forever... Oh, and this little town is still probably the cutest of all.

The hostess Rosy was quite friendly and helpful. We had a little difficulty in finding the property via GPS (it took us to a different location because the building numbers on Via Biosio are a little confusing), and Rosy helped guide us to the property via a phone call. The apartment itself is amazing. The bedroom and bed was so clean and comfortable, and the view of Lake Como is stunning. The living room is also quite comfortable and I loved the huge glass sliding doors, again for the beautiful view of the lake. The location on a hill above central Bellano makes it quiet and relaxing.

I had a wonderful stay at Silvia’s place. She was kind, caring, and very attentive, always happy to help with any questions I had. The apartment was spotless, the bed was extremely comfortable, and the location was great. It was excellent value for money, and I would happily stay again if I had the chance. Highly recommended!

Bellano is one of the smaller towns of Lake Como and has a...

Bellano is one of the smaller towns of Lake Como and has a nice marina and promenade alongside the wharf. It can't be compared with the bigger towns of Bellagio or Menaggio which are more beautiful and scenic. But Bellano is quite nice too with a neat town centre with both indoor and outdoor eating places. It is also less crowded as compared to some of the bigger towns which gives it a laid back ambience. Logistics are however not so great. Ferry frequency for going to other towns is low which means sometime you have to catch a ferry at an inconvenient time. Inside Bellano public transport is practically non existent and taxis are not available for love or money which is perhaps true for other towns of Lake Como as well. There don't seem to be many top class hotels in Bellano. We stayed at the Villa Reverie Boutique hotel which was situated right on the lake side and was about 1 km from the town centre. We liked the hotel and would recommend it strongly despite its high price point for a 3 star hotel.

Bellano is an amazing place to visit.

Bellano is an amazing place to visit. Absolutely beautiful and so easy to get around on the ferry. Restaurants are close by aswell as supermarkets. TBH I could just sit and look out at the amazing views all day long!

Pretty town, not too hilly like some of the villages. Beautiful lake front with wonderful views from various different spots on the lake. Only down side was that, not being one of the major villages, ferries were less frequent than we envisaged and when arriving at a larger village one had to immediately queue for ages for return tickets. So visitors need to allow for this and make sure they know the times and destinations of ferries in advance. We ate in a very pleasant restaurant on the lake front called Cavalla Bianco one night and visited the Orrido gorge which was stunning and with a fascinating history.

I was pleasantly surprised with this little town.

I was pleasantly surprised with this little town. Apart from the waterfront which is pretty and flowery, the little alleys going inside carry a medieval atmosphere with its unpainted corridors streets. The Gorge of Orrido is a must to visit and music to the ears with the rush of the water coming down the surface of the hill. Magic! Also it is a good place to stay to visit the upper side of the lake which is less touristic and still authentic.

Beautiful place, easily accessible by train and ferry. Nicely located for easy access to bigger/more touristy places like Verenna and Bellagio, but away from the hustle and bustle. Lovely restaurants and hotels close by. Would highly recommend using as a base to see Lake Como and as a relaxing stay in itself.

Small town, good choice of restaurants, bars & ice-cream shops. Passenger ferry useful to access main area, not a lot to see - but good for a base to explore rest of Lake Como, as not as busy/ touristy as other larger towns.

Property was very clean and taken good care of. Enzo - the owner of the place was very warm and welcoming, helped out with practicalities before our arrival as well - picked us up from the train station and took us there at the day we checked out. Property has a shared kitchen area, so you can prepare some breakfast, snacks there. Bellano is a beautiful and not that crowded place to stay in and this is a great option for a stay. There is also a bus that can take you up to the property. Breath tax views when walking up to the property.

Manuela was an amazing hostess, willing to answer any and all queries and to accompany us in our trip to Bellano. The view was incredible - Lake Como just outside your window. Even were you to not opt for a room with a view, you can nevertheless enjoy the views from the terrace in the morning. Indescribable views! The room was very comfortable. The breakfast was the best we have had yet - fresh local products and on-demand extras. Manuela did an amazing job in making our stay as memorable as possible.

The staff including Jessica the receptionist and the waiter were so friendly with all our dealings with them. There was a landslide which meant we couldn't get the train as planned to Bellano and had to get a bus for part of it and Jessica helped us with information with taxi numbers etc. So we would definitely be able to get there. Great staff. We had food both nights in the hotel in was delicious. The rooms were spacious and clean. And breakfast had a great choice to choose from.

We were so grateful to have gotten to stay in the beautiful town of Bellano in this quaint little apartment by the water! This is the perfect spot for a relaxing stay on Lake Como, away from the busyness of other towns like Bellagio & Menaggio. We could still easily access the other towns via ferry + bus, and there were plenty of lovely little restaurants and cafes conveniently located nearby. The apartment itself was clean and had everything we needed.
