B&B Hotel Bergamo is located in Bergamo, 2133 feet from the train station. Free WiFi access is available in all areas. I loved the experience here especially the hospitality and the nice way the receptionists talk to you and take care of you. In fact they suggested me where to go and were very nice with my children. For those reasons I booked the same hotel in Milan (it was the receptionist suggestion to me) and I booked the room again when I came bk to Bergamo.

Nice place to see , old city was amazing , town centre is nice to see and do good Shoping , rail way station very near and you can use to go to the other cities Buses are very cheap , trains are extremely cheap a lot of choices with restaurants
We loved this beautiful, compact cosmopolitan Northern Italian city. We chose to stop off here on our drive to Venice and look forward to coming back when we can stay longer, especially as Bergamo is busy preparing to be a European Capital of Culturein 2023!
I can only really speak for Citta Alta, but that I can say is plain gorgeous and well worth seeing for 2-3 days. The main pedestrian street does get somewhat crowded in peak season and and all the streets in the area are somewhat narrow and winding, but that just adds to the charm. To me this is one of those quintessential towns for a quick weekend getaway, to sip a good cappuccino and watch the world go by. Speaking of which, there are lots of charming cafes, trattorias, pasticcerias, you name it. Nice places for dinner and drinks are plentiful throughout the old town.
A colorful city. Many neighborhoods where you can find any culture you like. Italian historic places , small communities from people from Africa and other places all of them leaving quietly and peacefully. Good connections with all the areas. A bit expensive to the touristic places but you can find places to eat and have fun with fair prices. From Bergamo you can easily visit Como Lake and the surrounding area either renting a car or by train or bus. Generally a friendly city with nice people from all over the world!
Beautiful city. The Citti Alta is the old part of Bergamo and the only place worth staying in. The lower part of Bergamo Citti Basse is modern and does not have many attractions so not good for tourists in my opinion. There is a bus from the airport will bring you right up to the top of City Alta and only costs 1.30euro. On arrival we got a taxi which first of all cost 25 euro plus tip but left us a long walk uphill with our bags from our accomodation so beware! Lots of lovely restaurants in the piazzs and quaint little shops. Get the bus to the train station where you can get the train to lots of places like Lake Como, Lake Iseo, Milan.
Go to the Upper town once in the morning and once in the evening. Scenery is excellent! Many options for dinner with local cuisine. Use the Funicular - quick (3 min) ride and cheap! Old architecture in the Upper town - full of history.
Bergamo
The hotel is a bit aside from the city centre and I new the taxi is the only option for our late arrival, but the idea was to spend a nice evening, enjoy breakfast and then hike from the hotel to the old city via picturesque trails. The best breakfast in Italy I ever had. The owner met us, brought us by car to a restaurant and then brought us back. The room was nicely designed and clean, nice view in the morning. One night stand is definitely not enough for the hotel.
Bergamo
The location was close to train station. We stayed as the flight was cancelled from Bergamo. The rooom for 4 of us was clean, although bit small in size. Private bath was clean and nice. The city tour of old Bergamo was an added advantage. Host Mr Daniel is a nice guy. He supported his best. The most supportive task was an early morning drop off to Bergamo airport by him, which eased out worry. Big supermarket nearby with some restaurants, so stay was fine.
Bergamo
I just stayed in the hostel for one night, riccardo picked be up at the train station and took me to the airport the next morning. So there was a free shuttle organized by the hostel owner. The most expensive hostel of my whole trip but the money was worth it. The best shower in my life i felt like i have booked the luxury suite, amazing breakfast included , very friendly staff, good wifi and a perfect spot to start or finish a Trip to Italy.
Rosaria and Walter are the best hosts! They are so friendly and kind and even picked us up from the airport. We had a fantastic stay at this really beautiful apartment right in the centre of Bergamo Citta Alta. The apartment is set back from the street so very quiet and peaceful. Very comfortable bed, great kitchen and lounge fully equipped and food provided. Loved it all! Wish we could have stayed longer. Thank you Walter and Rosaria.
Perfect hotel for the Central Train station and the buses to and from BGY airport. This hotel is also only about a 15min walk (walking with mother who has arthritis) to the funicular which takes you up to the old town. The shopping streets and the centre of the new town are just around the corner from the hotel. Breakfast was very good. Bergamo really is a fabulous place to visit and this hotel is a good base for touring the city.
The apartment is really nice and spacious. It has different rooms that are rented and a shared kitchen. It was located in a good and quiet area close to Central Tran Station, La Citta Alta and close to the pedestrian are of Bergamo. Our room was spacious and clean and our stay there was extremely pleasant. The host was really nice and the communication was perfect.
Citta Alta Bergamo is a very beautiful, medieval city that still has an authentic feel to it. Italy at its best - loudspeakers everywhere with Opera Music (not obtrusive at all, rather magical), people with Italian fashion, good restaurants. A treat.
Wonderful hotel and location. Less than 10 minutes (on foot) from the centre of Bergamo (and perhaps 30 from Citta Alta). The staff were incredibly hospitable and flexible when I needed to make changes to my booking. The free breakfast was fantastic.
Bergamo
The hotel is gorgeous with original antique furniture and designs The breakfast was the best we’ve had in Italy, lovely cakes and covid safe Staying in a real royal bedroom felt magical
Bergamo
The owner Mrs.Laura is so nice that I feel like home or family place, This is best hotel I've never ever lived in Italy, highly recommend to people like natural places.
Excellently fitted out art boutique hotel. Utta made our stay very enjoyable with suggestions of restaurants, ‘must sees’ in the Citta Alta and general help.
Awesome boutique hotel on top of the hill looking down at Cita Alta Bergamo. The staff was great and willing to meet all of your needs. Great stay and value.
This has become one of our favorite hotels ever! Perfect location in Bergamo Alta, friendly staff, one of a kind building, unique rooms, clean etc
It was a nice clean hotel. Location was good especially for visiting the old town. Breakfast was good - a nice variety.

The energy from Cittá Alta (Upper City) and the short walking distance to all the best that Bergamo has to offer.

The hospitality from everyone at the hotel was extraordinary. The location is perfect if staying in Citta Alta.
