Floors in our room were spotless along with everything else. Breakfast staff were just lovely. It's a little difficult for an American traveler in Europe sometimes and we speak the language. Attitudes in general have changed due to Covid I think. It was very comfortable and we loved the historic feel of the lobby.

Citta Alta is the crowning glory of this small city. I love this city. It is a great place for people who love walking. Bergamo has miles of parkland, and there are several walking routes in and around Citta Alta. They are mostly by narrow roads. Here you will see several locals walking running or cycling around these lovely hills.
This was a short visit to Bergamo so just had time to explore the old town, which is beautiful. Wonderful eating and drinking experience. Great views of the surrounding Lombardy region from high up in the old town.
Nice place to see , old city was amazing , town centre is nice to see and do good Shoping , rail way station very near and you can use to go to the other cities Buses are very cheap , trains are extremely cheap a lot of choices with restaurants
We loved this beautiful, compact cosmopolitan Northern Italian city. We chose to stop off here on our drive to Venice and look forward to coming back when we can stay longer, especially as Bergamo is busy preparing to be a European Capital of Culturein 2023!
I can only really speak for Citta Alta, but that I can say is plain gorgeous and well worth seeing for 2-3 days. The main pedestrian street does get somewhat crowded in peak season and and all the streets in the area are somewhat narrow and winding, but that just adds to the charm. To me this is one of those quintessential towns for a quick weekend getaway, to sip a good cappuccino and watch the world go by. Speaking of which, there are lots of charming cafes, trattorias, pasticcerias, you name it. Nice places for dinner and drinks are plentiful throughout the old town.
A colorful city. Many neighborhoods where you can find any culture you like. Italian historic places , small communities from people from Africa and other places all of them leaving quietly and peacefully. Good connections with all the areas. A bit expensive to the touristic places but you can find places to eat and have fun with fair prices. From Bergamo you can easily visit Como Lake and the surrounding area either renting a car or by train or bus. Generally a friendly city with nice people from all over the world!
Bergamo
It was my third time in Bergamo and Made in Italy was the best option I had. I wish I have as clean in my home as is there! Self check-in was very easy and comfortable for us. Rooms, corridor, even cups for toothbrushes are music theme. Classic breakfast are tosts with butter and jams or similar, coffee or tea as you wish. Huge bathroom with bath and shower and normal size shampoo and shower gel for guests. Only three apartaments are there. Really appreciate the view from the window and how lovley time we spent. Thank you!
Bergamo
The place is quite close to the airport of Bergamo and main train station. The host was extremely hospitable and eager to meet us at out late check in without any additional fee (not typical for Italy). Beds were comfy, bathroom is very clean. The room had a fantastic terrace - great place to have a breakfast even in cold November. Breakfast was typical Italian - coffee/tea with a piece of croissant. No hot dishes, egg or beef.
Fantastic one of a kind boutique nestled on top of the mountain overlooking Bergamo. We arrived super late (1am) due to plane delays...and the desk manager poured us a glass of Prosecco and while we went to leave our bags in the room he had prepare a spread of appetizers for us complementary of the hotel. The place is immaculate. I travel for work for 15 years now and it takes quite a lot to impress me. Well... they did.
Sparkling clean. Like New facilities. Everything worked. Plenty of water pressure and hot water galore. Location is perfect. Arrived late evening and walked around Bergamo - absolutely adorable town. Spotlessly clean too. Found several excellent places to eat. (Kudos to Spontini Pizza right down the street. One slice is a whole meal ! Hot and fresh !) Bus to airport is right across the street from the hotel.
Bergamo
I stay at this hotel one a month, every time I'm in Bergamo I stay here, its value for money, the location is great, there is parking close by which is free after 8pm until 8am the next day, there is a great Pizzaria downstairs and a great spot for breakfast next door to that. its close to the cable car? to get to the old town, its close to the train and bus station.
What makes this hotel worthwhile is the staff. Very friendly and helpful staff. They go out of their way to help out. The hotel is relatively close to the central station, and convenient if you need to take the train. The hotel is easily accessible from the Bergamo Airport by bus number 1, and short ride away from the Citta Alta, the picturesque place worth exploring.
