Bitonto is the town of my ancestors.
Bitonto is the town of my ancestors. It was my first time in Italy, and I went to Bitonto to do research on my family. it’s a beautiful town with kind people, excellent food and historic buildings and churches. Not as full of tourists as Lecce and other popular tourist destinations. Pleasant architecture, not quite as rococo as Lecce. More of a local feel. At a first sight it is nothing more than a city near airport, where you sleep last night before your flight departs. And this proved to be the right decision. This property is located just 5 minutes (by foot) from train station Bitonto SS Medici, from which there are regular connections to Bari Airport and Bari. You really do not need to rent a car. Apart from that, the property has two sleeping rooms, modern bathroom, and a living room with a kitchen: perfect for a family with two children.
