    The town is beautiful and the restaurants top quality. However there is no convenience store or bakery in the town so you need to have brought with you provisions if you want to eat in your accomodation.

    Supertuscans baby-we visited Ornellaia, Guado al Taso, and La Macchiole for tastings-all excellent. We ate at Osteria San Guido and Osteria Guado al Taso-both great dining experiences. We walked around the small town of Bolgheri which was a great location to stay for the visit. 2 days was perfect maybe 3 if you want to visit more vineyards.

    The general setting is one of complete relaxation. It is a working farm and vineyard, and the buildings work around the natural area very well. It is not too polished, so you feel like you can relax in nature but you still get what you would like from a good quality hotel in Tuscany. The rooms are finished very well inside, with high quality furnishings and fittings. The wine tasting at the vineyard is very good value and includes their Bolgheri Superior. The rose is also very good! I highly recommend.

    Everything was perfect! We really enjoyed our stay and would like to come back again! The room had a private yard where they served our breakfast! The swimming pool and the Hot tub/Jacuzzi were just in front of the room. We were staying outside of the active season so we could relax and enjoy the tranquility. The hotel is situated near many wineries and is surrounded by vines! This is what we would call - la dolce vita!

    very kind and supporting staff ( early check in too) ... grazie Silvia everything just perfect: very close to Bolgheri center and the sea shore quite and clean backyard pool no dog barking and owner shouting orders(No pets allowed) really appreciated :-)
