The room (suite) was spacious, the bed was large and comfortable, the grounds are lovely with fantastic views on the surrounding hills, breakfast was very good, with a large variation of products and a lovely location, staff were very pleasant and responsive to all our requests. The restaurant is located in a lovely space and offers a creative menu.

We had a double room in a building that was built into the hillside, entered from stairs underground and then a French door on the opposite side of room that opened to a small shaded area overlooking the vast valley below and the beautiful Montone, a hilltop village straight across the valley. The view was magic and made us smile every morning when we woke. It was then down the path to a small but lovely pool near the mountain edge. We had exploring to do, so regrettably didn't have as much time to spend just relaxing at the venue, as we would have liked. A next visit for this is being planned. We had a delicious and plentiful breakfast each morning with many choices available. It was a 20-30 min walk to Montone, an uphill, and down dale stroll. There are other accommodation types at the B&B, I believe, but we just loved ours. There wasn't air con, but we didn't need it because of the underground nature of the room, and it was very hot out. Montone is a delightful village and was the purpose for our initial stay, however the area has some lovely other villages and a devine winery not if you have a car to explore in.

The room was beautifully decorated and clean with comfortable beds, breakfast was a large selection of pastries, cakes, cereals, fruits and cold meats. Dinner was always very high quality food and the dining area was lovely and cosy with a fireplace.
