Buti is a very lovely little town and the apartment met all our expectations. If you travel by car, and especially with kids - Il Vicolo is a great place either for a short stay, or as a base to roam around in Tuscany. (We stayed for an extended period of time, me doing some work in the vicinity and the family making a vacation.) And Kris and his family are great hosts!

The hotel staff was incredibly friendly and helpful. As others have mentioned, the hotel is dated but it's clean, surprisingly quiet and comfortable. Something to mention: we chose this hotel because it was very close to a wedding reception hall. As we were heading out to the wedding, the owner asked us if we were going to a wedding and gave us a key to access the hotel in case we arrived after they closed. They were paying attention, which we really appreciated!!!

Great pit stop after arriving on a late flight, before setting off to drive to Cortona the next day. Special mention to the wonderful staff: we arrived quite late and the lady on the desk gave me some of her own feminine hygiene products as I had been unable to find a pharmacy that was open, thank you! Room was big, comfortable and breakfast buffet was plentiful & delicious

    The home is gorgeous. It’s a lovely home with 3 spacious rooms, one big living room, kitchen and bathroom. There is also a small garden where you can grill or chill. I think it’s a great location if you want to visit around Tuscany. We manage to go to Pisa, Lucca, Firenze and enjoy also some beach days. We were 2 families and we managed to park 2 cars in there. The owners are really nice and available for any questions we had, has been lovely to be in touch with them.

    Location was unbelievable, view over the town of Buti was something we will never forget. Communication with owner and host was super easy via WhatsApp. Villa super clean and the grounds immaculate too. We have stayed in many villas but not one has had as many seating areas dotted around to enjoy. The views from the hot tub were incredible and the boys enjoyed the pool.

    Very peaceful place closed to the nature and the same time closed to the center of Buti. Buti is a small place but the atmosphare of the hilly place is very special. The House is Clean and comfortable for 4 people. The parking place is safe behind the gate of the casa. They have a nice outside shower, and the place is very nice to relax.

    Our host Alessandra was super friendly and helpful. The accommodation was spacious, super clean and located in a very peaceful spot next to a small river in the mountain woods. The breakfast was wonderful with home made cake and regional products. Located close to Pisa and Lucca. Many good restaurants in the village close by.
