Absolutely fantastic!!! The views from the terrace, dining, and room were fantastic! The staff was incredible - kind and helpful! The food was also fantastic! Of the 7 places we stayed in Tuscany, this was by far our favorite place! The tiramisu, was the best we had in all the places we went!

We recently had the pleasure of staying at Svetlana's apartment in the historical city center, and we must say it was an experience that exceeded our expectations. Here's what we liked about the place: - Location: Nestled in the vibrant historical city center, this apartment put us right in the middle of culture, architecture, and the bustling life of the city. Everything we wanted to explore was just a stone's throw away, making our stay incredibly convenient. - The Terrace and View: One of the standout features was the terrace with its breathtaking view of the marble mountain. It became our favorite spot for both morning coffee and relaxing evenings. And oh, the hammock! We even enjoyed sleeping on it, and it's something we'll remember with a laugh for a long time. - The Host: Svetlana was an exceptional host. Her friendliness and responsiveness made us feel welcome and at ease. It's the little things, the attentiveness and care that truly make a stay special, and Svetlana certainly delivered on that front. - Design of the Apartments: Last but not least, the design of the apartments was simply beautiful. Elegant, thoughtful, and with a touch of modernity, it provided the perfect ambiance for our stay. It was more than just a place to sleep; it felt like a home. In conclusion, if you're looking for a comfortable stay, coupled with a touch of history, a spectacular view, and a host who truly cares about your experience, then Svetlana's apartment is the perfect choice. We can't recommend it enough, and we look forward to returning soon. A big thanks to Svetlana for making our trip an unforgettable one!

    Carrara is an absolutely unique place on the face of Earth. People are cutting marble mountains for two millennia. The city is very interesting in its history and arts. One can easily spend 4-5 days walking through streets and places. Several tour operators offer very exciting excursions into quarries.

    We chose to visit Carrara primarily for its renowned marble quarries and vibrant sculpture scene. If you have an interest in these arts, Carrara certainly offers a rich experience. The city itself is bustling, focusing largely on the industry that revolves around marble. Aside from this, Carrara might not offer the typical tourist attractions. However, its coastal section presents a more traditional tourist experience with beautiful views and some leisure activities. For visitors whose interests align more with cultural and industrial heritage, especially related to marble and sculpting, Carrara is an exceptional destination. For others, it might require a bit more exploration to uncover its charms.

    Carrara is just stunning but best to go if you’re someone who loves to hike and walk a lot! Gorgeous place with amazing views, quaint restaurants, tiny street shops and markets open on weekdays only.

    Small but friendly town.

    Small but friendly town. Please note that on Friday night all the restaurants in the center are reserved and none accepts that a tourist wants to have dinner at 8.30 pm. Even after looking around I couldn't find a single restaurant that would accept to serve me. Although they continue with empty tables waiting for reservations. Never again and be careful it's a beautiful city to see and leave in 2 hours.

    I spent only one night in Carrara with the goal to visit Carrara Marble Tour. The tour was super interesting, I would definitely recommend the tour. I enjoyed the walks in the area of Piazza Alberica. It is interesting to see the usage of marble in the city. I had a dinner at Osteria la Piazza and I would recommend the place.

    Very nice and helpful hosts. Safe parking behind closed gate. Room was fresh, modern and clean. There was a balcony with great view to marble mountains. Hotel was close to city. Room was quiet - we couldn't hear neighbors or street noises. Territory was well maintained and clean.
