Castelmezzano is just wonderful, it's location, setting and scenery are superb truly justified by its World Heritage Site status. Lovely small alleyways to meander along, houses perched atop a hillside incredible experience to have visited this beautiful place. Best time to avoid is at weekends when the place gets very busy and parking is a problem as the village imposes a traffic free zone. For those really adventurous daredevils, they even have a 'Zipwire' experience with limited opening times? Il Nostro Ristorante is the perfect place to end your day for dinner or if you prefer lunch, their kitchen is first class approaching 'Cordon Bleu' standard.
