We were not expecting such a big compound. We got a big room with a tiny balcony and a cozy reading room and a private bathroom. We did not know there will be reading room. The host also provided basic breakfast despite it not being included. We really appreciated the coffee. Thank you. Room is very clean. We were allowed to check in super early. The view is beautiful. The place is amazing and within nature. The nights get a little chilly even in summer and so not having AC was not a problem at all

Paciano is a gem of a small village and this hotel was above average. We travel a lot throughout Italy and usually the staff far exceed the accommodations so you might overlook the shortcomings. This hotel is the complete package. We stayed for a week and traveled around the area. Claudio and his staff were welcoming, helpful, down to earth, and the hotel room was great. Spacious with a great view of the valley below us. Highly recommended.

The views are amazing, the rooms are clean, breakfast was good. Overall we have had a fantastic trip. But what stood out most is the exceptional service from the staff. We traveled with a 5 month old and above and beyond to make our vacation as good as possible - to a point that dinner was served at our room just so we could enjoy great dinner while looking after our baby. We will be back!

We loved staying at such a beautiful location with so much history. We had the room with the mosaics on the ceiling and it was awesome! The bathroom is not attached to the room, but it is not shared with other guests and just a few feet away. The walkway to the bathroom is also private with a little table and chairs that is perfect to sit outside and watch the sunset. Annalisa and her mother were very kind and a delight to get to know! Umbria is beautiful and there's lots for towns to visit. This was a great home base after a day of exploring the Italian countryside.
