The bedrooms, bathrooms, & balconies were very large & very clean; and the views from the balconies were gorgeous! The breakfast room had a nice cappuccino machine, and the refrigerator was stocked with milk, yoghurt, and juices. The villa owner Rodolfo was very friendly & helpful and responded quickly to our needs. The location was excellent - just a 5-minute walk up to the city square.

The owner was extremely helpful and friendly. We were able to self check-in easily and greeted the owner, Rodolfo, the next day. Breakfast was included at the cafe across the street, "Manhattan." Caffe and Cornetto. The room was spacious and clean. Included everything we needed. We cannot wait to visit again soon. Highly Recommend!

This was an exceptional stay! The house is beautiful and the owner was friendly and went out of her way to be helpful . Everything is very clean, the bed and bathroom are of the highest standard. The breakfast was very good. This place would be an excellent central point to explore Basilicata. The owner made helpful suggestions about places to visit which we would never have found. It made our time there very interesting and special . We wished we could have stayed longer. The surrounding mountainous area is superb, with soaring, rocky peaks and lush thick forests below. Don’t miss staying at la Casa Di Giro!

Large comfortable space in a beautiful village with breakfast in the local cafe and option for home-made delicious dinners. Guiseppe was welcoming and most accomodating assisting us with transportation and other needs.

Beautiful hotel but not located near any restaurants or shops and located in the middle of a working farm so minimal place to walk around the hotel. Service was exceptional, room was clean and spacious and food was very good. Need a car to do anything but otherwise a very lovely place to stay.

Location, comfort, style. Castlemezzano is a gem of a town. Should not be missed on a trip to Southern Italy..if only for an overnight. And then stay at the Dolomiti. Perfect if you are driving. Parking nearby (important in this part of the country!). Everything about this hotel was delightful.
