This hotel/experience could not have been better. The attention to detail was unmatched. Beautiful/large room with spectacular views. It was everything we had hoped for and more. We were able to take advantage of the Michelin star restaurant, the amazing breakfast, the hotel's wine tour and the spa. Everything was literally steps from our room. Was very easy to schedule things in Cortona as the reception would set up transportation and make reservations for us.

The breakfast has many local tuscan home made pies and specials. It also includes brunch options which are very intricate. There is also a small buffet in the evening or during the day with many homemade special cookies. The staff was very attentive and kind, every detail was being considered. The location is very convenient. Please note it is on a very steep hill, so if you’re not able to manage walking to/from physically, this may not be the place for you. Cortona is full of hills in general. Beautiful décor, amazing ample breakfast and super friendly staff. It has a classical “old Italian” feel but kept up pristinely.

The hotel was beautiful and breakfast was great. The attendant at the desk was very friendly and happy to provide us with a history of the hotel. An elevator would have been helpful as our luggage was quite heavy to get up the stairs.

Cortona is a great location for day tripping all that Tuscany( Montepulciano, Assisi, Arezzo, Pienza, Sienna) has to offer. Parking can be a challenge, but the town itself is delight with many terrific resturants(La Bucaccia & Antica Trattoria) that cater to vistors. I could spend a month living in Cortona.

Amazing medieval city with beautiful architecture and a great atmosphere. We were there on the main holiday weekend of the year and it was very crowded. There was a food festival in the park, a photographic exhibition in various sites around the city and a band playing in the Teatro Piazza in the evening. The many churches are beautiful and there are restaurants to suit everybody - from gourmet to burgers. Never a dull moment for two days. Unfortunately it is not suitable for people with mobility problems because of the steep hills and cobbled streets.

We have stayed in Cortona three times over the past few years. We love the fact that it's not too big It has a community feel. The restaurants are very good, and there are some lovely shops. If you want to make Cortona your base, it's easy to travel to other villages not too far away.

Absolutely wonderful little Tuscan town located in a stunning landscape. Plenty of really good restaurants of all price ranges. Easy to happily lose yourself in the alleys and streets and to feel the relaxed and friendly atmosphere of the community. Don't just stick to the core of the town, do explore the other parts, go up the hill to the fortress and have a drink/snack at their bar, and enjoy the uphill/downhill walk. And aimlessly walk around, not just inside the city and its surrounding wall, read about its history and stories, have an Italian drink somewhere with no allocated appointments afterwards and enjoy! Sheer bliss!

incredible place. cleaning personell, receptionists, waiters and waitresses, masseurs and the bartender - they all create a magical experience with not only tactfulness but warmth and authenticity. the facilities are beautiful- everythings clean and charming with the home of the hotel being an old monastery that was respectfully renovated. the changeable lights in the shower add a playful touch. cortona itself being a place of art and culture with mountain views made this the perfect stay for me.

Immaculate retreat located in beautiful Tuscan country side with easy access by car to Camucia and Cortona. Flavia and Roberto could not have been more kind and hospitable. Beautiful olive oil, wine and ancient grain pasta producers. Great catering for stay when requested. All amenities provided and superb, quiet pool area with maintained gardens and shade from mature trees. The best of many stays in Tuscan agriturismos to date, immersed in luxury and nature.

Absolutely stunning hotel in the heart of Tuscany, the staff was so charming and very nice. The entire surroundings is just breathtaking! The breakfast was exceptional, the food from the restaurant was delicious! They offer plenty of activities to do! The rooms were spacious and extremely comfortable, decorated with a lot of style, the attention to detail was very present. Highly recommend if you’re looking for a luxury yet comfortable and warm palace!
