Hotel staff was simply amazing and super helpful, the Romanian lady from reception that open the morning shift was incredibly helpful, each day called a taxi for me because I did not use roaming or got the chance to buy an Italian sim, each morning prepared the breakfast because due to Cosmoproof I had to try to leave early. Breakfast was amazing and much better than some hotels in the city from London to be honest with you (prosciutto, salami, cheese, coffee, juice and a large variety of pastries). Despite all the negative reviews I have seen, the room was big and clean. The only problem, which is not their fault really, is the location which is in the middle of nowhere 15km out of the city and during cosmoproof is nearly impossible to find a taxi back. Maybe because of this lady o was lucky enough to find taxi every morning within 10 min of waiting. But whenever you book the hotel it is your job to check the location if is suitable or not. I had to book this hotel because the prices in Bologna city were a totally rip off, more expensive than Burj Al Arab and living in Dubai for 10 years I can make this comparison or with 1 night in the Bologna city I can spend 1 month in Thailand in a great hotel apart. If you planning to visit Bologna, Hotel Elefante Bianco can offer you great clean rooms, great breakfast but you should rent a car to move around because the taxis are very expensive (average 50 euro per trip) and in case there is an event in the city, due to such pour organization, you will have difficulties finding a taxi back.

A beautiful apartment, perfect bathroom, well-equipped kitchen, spacious bedroom with very comfortable bed and pillows, and quiet, effective air-conditioning in the bedroom. Secure, off-street parking. We booked at very short notice, but the hosts were prepared and made us feel welcome. Also, the kitchen had a machine that made excellent coffee, and bottled water, juice and milk were in the fridge. Would definitely recommend and stay again. They even had insect screens on all the windows. We felt that they had thought of everything.

The owner of this lovely rustic house was very friendly and helpful, we had to check in at 2 am and he waited for us and welcomed us warmly. The place is quiet and just next to the highway so it was super easy to reach and in a very good location. Breakfast was home made and was delicious. I would definitely recommend it!

The location of Casino Pragatto Hills is perfect for a stay...

The location of Casino Pragatto Hills is perfect for a stay just outside Crespellano. The train links to Bologna are regular and straightforward, only about 35 minutes travel. There are some great restaurants around Crespellano and two big supermarkets if you want any provisions. We were lucky that our hosts at Casino Pragatto Hills made restaurant reservations. Our meal at Madia Cucina e Natura was memorable, such a very special place with attentive and informative staff. Their seasonal menu and quality of the produce prepared by the chefs was creative and delicious. Crespellano makes for a great base to visit the region including Parma, Modena and Lamborghini factory. Local vineyards also offer tours and tastings with Orsi Vineyard about 4km from Crespellano. Such a rich foodie region that is certainly worth a visit.

This hotel is unique. Family owned and with helpful and friendly staff members. It is in the middle of an industrial area, nothing fancy, but if you want to meet genuine, kind people who will help you with anything, this is the place. The breakfast croissants and coffee were great, the beds were very comfortable and everything was were clean and taken care of. And very affordable. But above all, the genuine and friendly staff is the highlight.

Marvellous place to relax and explore the "campagna romagnola". They have a vineyard very close - good choice for the wine lovers! Modena, Imola, Vignola, Castelvetro di Modena, and so many other wonderful small cities and castles are close to the hotel in the wonderful surroundings. The personel is very helpful and attentive. Bologna airport is just 20 minutes away! We have been there two times, and for sure will return!
