Beautiful little town nestled in between the mountains and sea. The locals are very friendly, it's an easy town to walk around as it's not too big. The beach is HUGE so you can have a lovely walk along it. Lots of places to eat and drink to suit a variety of budgets – highlights were Caffe Soldi, Caffe Roma, Pesce Baracca, Bocconcino. Forte itself is not of my taste, too many shops, too crowdy and we could not find really good ice-cream. As for sea location we were going to Spaggia Libero which is at the very end of city and it was nice. At breakfast, no meat or cold cuts were offered by default — they had to be ordered separately, but there was no clear information about what was available or how to order. That was a bit confusing. The location is really good, really near the center and prices are super fair, compared to other similar Hotels. They have bicycles you can rent to go around which is actually the best. Every time I go to Forte dei Marmi I always rent a bicycle, so it was perfect that they offered the service. Rooms are comfortable and modern.
