My son and I stayed here and it's a great place, with clean comfortable rooms and a secure yard to park the car if driving. Luigi, the host, is a real gentleman and can't do enough for you. He even cleaned the pigeon poop off our car in the morning before we got up, totally above and beyond the call of duty. Highly recommend as a place to stay for a night or two. Thank you Luigi

We had a lovely stay in Garlasco. It’s a peaceful and authentic Italian town, perfect for those looking to slow down and experience real local life in the middle of rice field areas. The streets are calm, the cafés serve great espresso, and everyone we met was welcoming and kind. It’s well located for day trips around Lombardy, and you really feel like you’re off the typical tourist trail. A perfect hidden gem if you enjoy local charm, good food, and a relaxing atmosphere. Would definitely return!

We are walking the Via Francigena. The overnight stay in Hotel I Diamanti was great. Room and bathroom ver clean. Spacious room with a comfortable bed and good shower. To get to the town centre was about a 700m walk. Staff was friendly and gave us a good welcome when we arrived. We would highly reccommend this hotel

Breakfast was excellent.The Manager was very helpful, courteous .He recommended an excellent restaurant close by. An absolute gentleman . I found the local people very friendly and eager to assist a pilgrim to find their hotel when Google Map didn't function.

The owners are so lovely. They are helpful and always smiling. The hotel has everything you need for a night, including a restaurant on-site and breakfast in the morning, which suits Via Francigena walkers who don't want to walk any further 😉
