We had a wonderful stay! Raffaele was a superb host! He went above and beyond to help my husband find some possible family connections in Gesualdo. Everyone he introduced us to was so kind and helpful! The breakfasts were also fantastic. It was a lovely stay, and we wish we had planned to stay longer.

    We had hired a car so we were fine getting around, except that in some of the valleys between towns, phone/map connection is not consistent and can result in errors, but no matter because the country side is so beautiful anyway. Gesualdo is a lovely town with a very pretty old centre and castle. Lovely new flower pots and people working to keep the areas clean and free from plant overgrowth. Lovely friendly people who were happy to try and chat despite the language barrier. Prices of food and wine are extremely low and our favourite restaurant was definitely Da Peppino! Great food, fabulous views and superior service. Great town for walking around and also close to other towns like Rocca San Felice(lovely town and tower) and Abbazia del Goleto (huge beautiful nunnery). We stayed at a beautifully restored B&B about a kilometre from town Agriturismo Torre Gialluise, totally recommend this place.
