Agriturismo Grion is a very new and sparkling clean structure with rooms that can compete with 3-4 star hotels. Our room was very nicely decorated, with wooden beams on the ceiling, the colors of the room are in harmony with the nature, the kitchen area is very well equipped, making cooking there an easy and pleasant task. The bed was extremely comfortable, and very qualitative sheets and towels were offered. The owners of the structure immediately prepared a cot at our arrival for our 3 years old son, even if we hadn't informed them before, and they offered him coloring books. The bathoorm is very nicely decorated, and all toiletries are provided, even slippers, handcream, toothbrush and toothpaste, ear plugs etc. In the kitchen, they also provided some fette biscotate with marmelade, coffee, tea, and a very nice bottle of wine from their own production. The room has a great air condition system, despite the 38 degrees outside, in the room the temperature was very pleasant. Private parking is available on the site. All these small attention to details made it a great stay, and we will definitely come back, especially during the season when the restaurant is open to try the local cuisine. Thank you for a great stay!

The place was incredible. Apart from its beauty (the rooms were designed by the hosts themselves in a very tasteful way), the apartment was clean and comfortable. At night it’s a very quiet place and by the daylight it stands close to the city center and many other Gorizia’s attractions. The hosts were really nice, helpful and welcoming with us. Also, the breakfast was very complete and tasty. We truly recommend this place to stay at Gorizia.

We had a terrific stay. Julio and Giuliana Sessi were terrific hosts. Julio went out of his way to ensure we were able to travel to our next destination. The country kitchen where we ate breakfast reminded me of the kitchen of the house where I grew up. Highly recommended for anyone going to or through Gorizia, Italy

Well, nothing but good words. Nice location, nice apartment, perfectly clean, all the facilities you can possibly want and need. A park and a nice coloured river just nearby and also an excellent restaurant 10 feet away, serving traditional Italian food. Warm and nice host as well.

    Gorizia is an undiscovered gem in Italy, main boulevard has wide, tree-lined sidewalks, many cafes and plazas, a fascinating castle and so many churches to check out. Food has been fantastic, people are helpful and friendly. The town is just the right size, not too big/not too small.

    Gorizia ia a wonderful city to wander through on foot.

    Gorizia ia a wonderful city to wander through on foot. The older part of downtown is well kept. The downtown area offers plenty of shops and restaurants to enjoy. I think it is good for about two or three leisurely days. There are a few sites to visit and Slovenia is close by. We ate at Peperino(excellent food and an attentive staff) and La Chincaglieria(sp?)(food and wine were really good, the atmosphere was lively, the staff was friendly). Overall, I would visit again.

    Gorizia is an undiscovered gem.

    Gorizia is an undiscovered gem. It has history, shopping, restaurants and a great location adjacent to the Collio Goriziano wine region, with numerous producers of excellent wines. Mountains, forests, beach resorts and the Adriatic Sea are all within a short drive. Slovenia is right next door.

    The hotel is marvelous, magic. The building is historical and it feels like staying in museum. The location is very central, yet quite. The breakfast was fantastic. Room comfortable, luminous, clean and spacious. What I loved most is the welcome wine tasting voucher: after check in, I enjoyed nice glass of wine in he hotel wine cantina. Overall, fantastic hotel to stay!

    Comfortable apartment in the heart of Gorizia with nice hosts. The kitchen is equipped with all the basics, including coffee, tea and olive oil, while hotel-quality toiletries, towels and sheets are provided in the bathroom and bedroom. The communication was prompt and the hosts were very accommodating. Would very much recommend to single travelers and couples.
