My stay at Castello Bonaria was truly unforgettable. I had the privilege of staying in one of the castle’s original towers, a detail that made the experience even more authentic and special, as the others have been reconstructed. It was also my first time visiting a vineyard, and being able to witness the wine production process up close in such a charming place was truly remarkable. Tasting traditional and carefully selected wines made the experience even more unique. The hotel provides all the support needed for a complete and relaxing stay. From the moment I arrived, I was warmly welcomed by the staff, who were always attentive and kind. The room, both spacious and cozy, stood out for its immaculate cleanliness and its elegant, harmoniously designed décor. Breakfast offered a wide variety of delicious options, and the staff were always ready to help with a smile. The dinners were excellent, always accompanied by an exquisite selection of local wines — a true celebration of flavor and refinement. I hope to return soon to relive this wonderful experience and once again enjoy the delightful wines from the Monte Solaio winery while watching the sunset over the valley — a breathtaking view that stays in the heart.

The Hotel is pristine clean, brand new, swimming pools are great and well kept. Location is ideal as Populonia and Baratti pinewoods and beaches are in a short drive distance. Staff is very helpful, very nice and yes- it counts- smiling and friendly all the time.

The beautiful smell of the fresh air Pino will send you back into eternity and make you wish that you stay longer. This place felt like home to me. as I walk out the door, I’m immediately greeted to the beautiful city square everyone smiling and greeting me. The ocean was a two minute walk to most beautiful beaches where I spent the day collecting shells. A pet stop for me on the way back to my lover, but I will definitely be making my way back soon
