The room is modern, and ours overlooked the lake and the road, which gave us a great view of all the action. On the weekend, we sat on the balcony eating ice cream watching the people go by while enjoying the breeze off the lake. It's a quick walk to the center to enjoy restaurants and attractions yet far enough away to not be disturbed by it all. It's also a quick walk to the train station and ferry if you want to go explore other regions of the lake.

This was a perfect location and hotel because of many reasons. 1.- free parking. 2.- Room was super clean, nice, views, amazing bed, plenty of light/windows... I felt at home. I had a balcony, so :) 3.- Views. I opened my window, and I can see the church, mountains, and streets. 4.- Breakfast is great. Not too overwhelming, but the right amount and super tasty. 5.- Staff is great... I felt at home.

The property is wonderful and spacious. A full kitchen and living room with a TV. The bathroom is a good size and even has a washing machine. The bed was comfortable, overall one of the nicest places we stayed during our Italy trip. The location is also perfect, close to the train, water and main shopping/restaurants.

A cute place, for me it was all about via ferrata, which you can find plenty around and everything is reachable by bus and feet. Not much to do in the city, but also not as busy as the neighboring Como, but with pretty much the same (if not better) scenic views and easy access to mountains for hiking and climbing.

Lecco is in the south part of Lake Como, but from almost all the cities that we look around the Lake, apart from Bellagio, Lecco is the most picturesque because the mountains chain in the Background. Is simply breathtaking. The city itself has nice restaurants, stores and the walk around the lake is fantastic. Is served from a Train station the reaches Milan and the airports in few times, make it easy to depart and come from overseas. The ferry boats have a fantastic service, and people are nice and helpful. Loved Lecco!!!

A beautiful town on the shores of Lake Como. Plenty to do and the town has excellent amenities. The promenade along the side of the lake is fantastic but the old town a few streets in is also great to wander around.

Lecco in my opinion, is a nice cheaper alternative to visit...

Lecco in my opinion, is a nice cheaper alternative to visit lake Como, with just enough things to not get bored. The center of it is nice, although if you go a bit more to the outskirts its industrial and not so nice/welcoming. A must is to take the cable car to the mountain and hike and take a boat trip to somewhere like Mandello del Lario.

I've seen many villages around Como Lake and still find Lecco great - conveniently located, with everything you need. There are lots of lovely trailing tracks around, possibility to get in 30 minutes with a local bus to ski slopes. And there was the carnival going on!

We arrived in the city during the Christmas market.

We arrived in the city during the Christmas market. We loved the romantic atmosphere around the harbour with the sun setting and the historic city centre with its beautiful Christmas decorations and great selection of romantic restaurants. Amazing Italian breakfast with coffee and brioche standing up.

The entire hotel team was remarkably amiable. The room was very comfortable—the bed, bathroom, cleanliness—everything we needed was provided. The only downside was the lack of air conditioning, which would have been appreciated due to the hot weather, but it wasn't available during this season. Despite that, we managed to fall asleep. The breakfast was excellent, and we also had dinner at Nicolin Restaurant—an unforgettable experience. Highly recommended if you're in Lecco or the surrounding area.

That was one of the best hostels I have stayed in the last 10 years! It is new, very clean with great design. All the people who work there are really nice but I want to thank, especially Chiara, who helped me a lot. If you choose to stay at a hostel at Lake Como, please choose this one. Lecco is a beautiful town with fewer crowds but near Varenna (30 min by a cheap train), Milano and Bergamo.

Very rustic and charming old villa. In walking distance to all the sites. Wonderful owners and very responsive. Great breakfast considering in Italy breakfast usually consists of a croissant and coffee.
