United KingdomThe standard at this hotel has remained exceptionally high (we visited it a few years ago). It has a brilliant breakfast arrangement where the usual buffet style mayhem is replaced by the lovely staff who give you what you want and make sure it doesn't run out. Parking no problem ample space for everyone. We didn't use the free shuttle bus but walked the short walk to the train station to get to the villages. Very hot outside but air conditioning coped well. All the staff were friendly and welcoming and worked exceptionally hard and the whole place was well run.

GuatemalaLoved the service. The manager was exceptionally helpful, friendly and so so accommodating. He made taxi reservations, dinner reservations to a fabulous restaurant he recommended - which by the way, was our favorite restaurant from our entire trip.
He also printed out the train schedule and explained how it worked.
The room was amazingly comfort, we got upgraded without even requesting an upgrade. The bed was really comfy. Very clean.
Loved all the staff, the breakfast was included and was so delicious, so was the cappuccinos yum!
I highly recommend this hotel, and will absolutely stay there again in the future.

Levanto is the next town north of Cinque Terre. The train that runs between the five towns, actually starts in Levanto so you can easily visit all the towns, and the trains also run to La Spezia where you can connect to many other parts of Italy. There are many restaurants, a fairly large beach, and you have many choices for hikes, walks, or rent a bike and ride through the tunnels. We were very glad we choose Levanto as the Cinque Terre towns were fairly crowded.

Levanto was the best place to anchor a visit to Cinque Terre. After visiting each of the small towns, we found Levanto to be a good place to return to in the evenings. Being a bigger town, there were a lot more options available for everything: groceries, restaurants, beach, gelato!, laundry, etc. It was a very friendly family centered community. Kids were out playing every day, people were riding bikes, and the town square was always busy with activity. It was just absolutely charming.

Levanto is a lively town with numerous restaurants particularly serving fresh fish and even some outdoor night time entertainment. Perfect location from which to explore the Cinque Terre villages and walks. Excellent transport links (train and ferry) to Cinque Terre villages and beyond …Pisa.. Portofino…
Would definitely recommend a visit to Levanto!

Good place to stay if you wanna travel to Cinque Terre.
Good place to stay if you wanna travel to Cinque Terre. Cheaper and less crowded than Cinque Terre, but just 20 mins by train to go to Monterosso, or hiking from Levanto to Monterosa is also the good way, and you don’t need to pay for that trail. The trail is not easy (10km) but doable and not as crowded as others trails in Cinque Terre.

I really enjoyed the beach at levanto and the night life was...
I really enjoyed the beach at levanto and the night life was exciting, every evening the had organised some kind of a event .
The most exciting part was the bicycle ride along the galerie levanto- bonassola. Also the punta della madonna ( chiesetta madonnino della punta ) was reachable with a cycle.
Anyone should walk along ( hike) through the sentiero levanto- monterosso.

Very helpful, kind and willing employee Silvie. She was there every morning to change towels, give bottle of water and some cookies. That felt like a hotel service.The host was also helpful, gave some advice on where to go, what to eat and get taxi. Just a few minutes walk from beach. Levanto was a great choice to stay to visit Cinque terre and Portofino.

The size of the accommodation is ideal for 5 people.
Kitchen equipment is excellent!
Beach and downtown a short walk away.
Railway station within a 10-minute walk, ideal transport at 5Terre.
Convenience store (CONAD) 5 minutes away.
Quick administration, kind host.
Good private parking.
Levanto beach is the best at 5Terre.

This was possibly the most gorgeous place we stayed in Italy, we decided on a farm stay to break up the typical hotels and it was quaint and quiet with the most spectacular view!! Nice space, comfy bed, and great terrace. Breakfast was seriously delicious too.
