Excellent location, helpful and friendly staff with a great breakfast. The room is well appointed and very comfortable, with a balcony that has an excellent view. You can step out of the hotel directly onto the beach or a promenade with great shops and other attractions. If you need an airport hotel for a quick stay too it is highly recommended.

Great place to rest before going back on a long flight home. Spacious apartment for a family to stay. We enjoyed the proximity to the beach, several gelato shops, and restaurants nearby. If we had stayed longer the property is right next to the bus and train station.

    I don't think many people think of "going to the beach" in...

    I don't think many people think of "going to the beach" in Rome, but it's only about 30 minutes away and costs $1.50 by public transit. The town itself is a little slow when not in high beach season, but there are loads of restaurants and shops to keep you busy if the beach isn't your thing. Public transport is great. And, you can visit incredible recently unearthed Roman Ruins of Ostia Antica very easily.

    It safe to walk at night, the ocean breeze is awesome, the pavement needs to be fixed, rolling a suitcase was not fun. getting there took sometime past nine pm on a friday night no more train.....when the busses was packed, Everything else in Lido di Ostia is awesome, everyone should visit.

    sandy nice beach and restaurants just next to the apartment, easy connection to Rome, clean and cosy apartment to have a nice holiday, enjoyed. Vey attentive host, kindly helped us to book a direct transfer from airport as it was almost midnight when we arrived.

    The place is very unusual, there are mostly local guests of various profiles, sometimes you can feel unsafe even though there is a lot of police and the streets are lit. The center is small but nice and organized, there is a lot of good and cheap food. The great thing is that it is well connected to Rome, the train goes every 15 minutes and in 20 minutes you are in Rome, which is many times more expensive in every sense than Lida di Ostia. Lovers of good beaches and the sea will not be impressed because the sea is shallow and you cannot swim in the depths because stone barriers have been installed, so all you have to do is splash around in the shallows, which are mostly cloudy because the beach is sandy. There is really a lot of garbage on the streets.

    We planned to visit beach and having relaxing days. We achieved our wiches. Great beach, water and weather, supermarkets and other shops with not big price. Location is not so far from Aeroport and Rome. Very good experience.

    Ostia is a beautiful city next to the Airport and just a short ride from Rome. I truly love it there, in the last year I visited 3 times and I cant wait to come back. You can visit Ostia antica or Rome or just chill on a beach and swim in the sea with sand beaches.

    We received much bigger rooms than we actually booked. The sea view from our rooms was just great. Our rooms had everything you needed to feel good and were cleaned every day. The staff at the reception was super friendly, helpful and professional (huge thanks to the lady who spoke Polish and to Alessio!). The breakfast was good. The location of the hotel is just perfect: it is situated by the sea and only a few minutes of walk from Lido's centre as well as the railway station from which commuter trains go every 20min to Rome.

    - very friendly, hospitable, helpful staff - clean apartment with sea view - tasty, typical Italian breakfast - very close to the beach - great location to rest after exploring Rome and to visit Ostia Antica - 10 min. of walking distance to the train station Lido Centro (you can get to the center of Rome), in front of the station there is a bus stop Cotral (you can get to the Fiumicino Airport) - close to cafes and restaurants

    Localisation of the place is absolutely amazing, both in terms of beach access as well as communication with Rome. Really great place to visit Rome and Ostia Antica as commuting is super easy. Nearby there is a great beach, public one, with bar and all required facilities. Host is super friendly and helpful, don't hesitate to ask her a questions as you'll get the best recommendations.

    Hotel is centrally located, across from the beach. Surrounded by many great reasonable restaurants with great Italian and also other ethnic food. Breakfast was included in hotel price. Staff very nice and helpful. I had a room with balcony with a view of sea; that was nice feature; I have asked for it when booking.

    Apartament is clean and tidy. Close to the public beach (around 400 m). 10 minutes of walk to the Ostia pier, 50 m to bus stop (bus 01) to get to Lido Centro station and Metromare which connect this part of city with Rome and other metro lines. Very good contact with personel.
