Staff was very helpful and courteous. The location was great, right across from the beach. Plenty of restaurants nearby. Rooms were good with a balcony.

Good price, clean room and bathroom. Emiliano is great man and extremely friendly. We came late at night by 03:00, but it was not a problem. Strongly recommend.

Convenient location, quick communication with the host, and easy check-in. The apartment had everything we needed, was quiet, and the bed was great.

If you come from the downtown area to catch a flight the next day, you need to know it is really very far away. We first took a bus and sat on it for a long time. The bus didn't stop at the hotel, so we walked almost one hour with our suitcases. If you take a taxi from downtown it would cost you a fortune! This hotel is too far away from downtown.

The reviews I read before booking this were a lie.
The reviews I read before booking this were a lie. This property in no way was a 10. The towels were thin and needed to be replaced. No paper towels of dish towels. We ran out of toilet paper only one roll was provided. The sheets need to be replaced very faded, old and thin. The chairs around the table sunk in, not comfortable at all. Our car got broken into 15 mins after arrival. Met owner out front for keys went back to the car. The window had been smashed on car and everything was stolen! Our suitcases and passports. We lost everything but the clothes on our back!!!! Not a safe area!

Ostia is not Portofino, it's a suburb of Rome that just happens to have a beach! The streets are dirty and overgrown with weeds and walking around is not a pleasure. However, if you have to go there the best cornetti can be found at UBK in Piazza della Stazione Vecchia, the best pizza at Romolo's just around the corner and the best spaghetti alle vongole at Tra il Grano e il Mare just off Via Pietro Rosa. Happy holidays!

The seafront is a mixture of private and public beaches.
The seafront is a mixture of private and public beaches. We found that paying to visit the private beaches more comfortable and cleaner than the public beaches plus the private clubs had restaurants and proper toilets.
There are a few restaurants away from the main square but we tended to stay in the main square. several bars also located in the square, wide selection of food to please everyone.
Area is well luminated and most people said good evening. We never felt threatened.
Three train stations available to take you to Rome which is 40 minutes away. a 72 hour ticket for the train can also be used on the underground and public trams and buses within the area of Rome.

A very Italian seaside resort.
A very Italian seaside resort. Great place to stay outside of Rome, train links into the city are exceptional and so cheap that they are almost free. Beware of pickpockets! Cafes and bars were great and very reasonably priced, nice to be able to relax on the beach and stroll along the front and around the town. Great base from which to visit Ostia Antica and its almost deserted Roman ruins and castle, a far cry from the crowds in central Rome.
We did not expect much from this place and booked a night here to visit Ostia Antica.
The reception staff exceeded our expectations. The place was old but clean. The bathroom was in a really good shape, no sluggish drain or hot water issues. The hotel was a bit far from the Ostia Central station but close to the bus stop for the airport bus. Next door is the Osteria Tascanelli bar where we had the best Aperol Spritz we've tried in this trip made with passion fruit. Overall, we felt like we got what we had paid for.
close to Lido di Centro station (less than a 2 minute walk) and 10 minute walk to the public (free) beach. close to supermarket and restaurants & cafes. Very convenient to go see ostia Antica, which I recommend is worth a visit! Ostia Antica is Totally underrated and way fewer tourists than Pompeii or Ercolano. Give yourself at least two nights to see the sights and spend a day at the beach!Give yourself at least two nights to see the sights and spend a day at the beach!
Very comfortable location of the apartment:
- up to 10 minutes on foot from/to the direct bus stops from/to Fiumicino airport,
- 5 minutes walk to Lido Nord station with direct train to Rome.
25 minutes walking distance to the beach. There is nearby grocery store, pizzeria.
Apartments fully correspond to the photo. Two bedrooms - one with a double bed and one with a single bed.
We arrived very late, however Erika met us and checked us in without problems.
The hosts were very kind and helpful. They agreed for us to have a late arrival and even waited for a few extra hours, as our flight was delayed. They even provided a nice breakfast and coffee even if was not included in the advert. The apartment itself is nice and spacious, fully equipped, situated close to the beach and restaurants. The Lido Centro trains station is 10 min away and from there you get to the center of Rome in 30 min.
Very comfortable huge apartment with 2 balconies and fully equipped kitchen. Great pizza place next door, beach 5 min walk train to Rome 5 min walk and in Rome Coloseo within 35 min.
Christian is an amazing host who made us feel welcome straight away. Christian was also excellent in all aspects of communication before and during our stay.
If we ever make it back to Rome, I would definitely stay here again.
Thank you Christian.
Great little spot on the coast close to the Rome airport. Cozy bed, great working AC, quiet place. We loved walking around and grabbing our last gelatos before we left Italy.
Would definitely recommend to anyone wanting to stay close to the airport! Easy to book an uber, even early in the morning.
the hotel was very nice but the area around was somewhat depressed. the hotel was to far away from Centre Rome. we had to take a taxi each way which was 70 euro each way. we tried the train system but it was to confusing.
the staff was very helpful and friendly. the breakfast was very nice.
By far the best staff in the hotel according to my experiences (very kind and helpful guys). Simple but good quality breakfast. Top location: you step out of the door and there is the beach in front of you, in Ostia I can not imagine better (everything is in 5 min walk).
Perfect location in the city centre and close to the beach. Bars (e.g. for breakfast) and restaurants are just around the corner. Helpful owner, which provided me with information about restaurants, etc. Lido di Ostia is close to the airport.
The location across the street from the beach and the discount access to the Lido Beach Club were fantastic. The vibe of the reception room and the tiny elevator were fun. The staff was helpful and pleasant. The breakfast was tasty!
The hotel is on the great location, near the beach, close to the city center and metro and bus station. Breakfast was delicious with different types of food. The room and building has cool and rustic vibe.
Great breakfast, outstandingly location (beach just across the road), promenade 5 minutes away, many eateries and shops all around. The hotel has a cosy garden to eat, work or just chill out.
Room was clean, great air conditioning, bed comfortable but room was small in relation to other hotels we have stayed in at Italy. But overall we enjoyed the hotel and will return.
Close to Airport for our final night in Italy.
Great restaurants along the marine. We ate at Sailing 809.
Sunset views from beachside balcony.
Big breakfast.
Helpful staff.
Very nice and comfortable place near to the beautiful beach ⛱️
Very kind and professional owner.
It is very suitable for families and near the train station.
