We’ve visited Italy many times and stayed in a variety of hotels and b&bs. We would rate the Scirocco o hotel amongst our top experiences … definitely the top now that we visit Italy for relaxation on beaches rather than cultural experiences. This hotel had the best combination of location (beachfront), accommodation including amenities, proximity to some of the best public beaches in Italy and restaurants in nearby communities. Our second room was bright, spacious and well laid out. The shower was spacious with plenty of water pressure and hot water (which is often lacking in Italy). Even though we speak no Italian, the staff, who spoke some English, always endeavoured to understand and accommodate our requests and questions. The young woman that cleaned our room did a remarkable job of keeping our room immaculately clean. The breakfast was served in a rooftop room or terrace (depending on weather). There was a great selection of pastries, fruit served with a fantastic endless view of the Ionian Sea.We fully intend to return next September for a longer stay.

We had an incredible stay at this beautiful property, we chose the villa option. The property is spotless — clean, modern, and at the same time wonderfully cozy. Tucked away in a peaceful countryside setting, it feels like a private retreat, yet it’s just meters away from the hotel which offers a restaurant and a pool. Also it 200 meters from the beach, which makes it feel extra special. Another standout feature is the remarkable restaurant on-site. The chef is a rock star, delivering dishes that celebrate local flavors in the most creative ways. All in all, this villa is the perfect blend of rustic charm and modern comfort. A dreamy escape — I can’t recommend it enough! We’ll be back.

It's a pleasant town; we returned after a few years.

It's a pleasant town; we returned after a few years. It has a beautiful sandy beach with beach clubs, a public beach, bars, and shops. The main street, lined with shops and restaurants, is a pleasant stroll, and the promenade is short, with benches and stalls. It's quiet and not very busy, making it ideal for families with small children.

Lido Marini is very close to several beautiful towns, which you can visit after a day at the beach. Presicce is a lovely village about 10 kilometers away that surprised me with its beauty. It's also close to Santa Maria di Leuca, Gallipoli, and other towns.

We have been in Lido Marini before but this was first time we tried Antonio’s accommodation. We were pleasantly surprised by how clean and modern the apartment was. We were a bit skeptical about living on a Main Street but despite that the apartment was very quiet. It is very easy and fast to communicate with Antonio. If we decide to go to Lido Marini again we will definitely be choosing this accommodation.

The location was perfect, only 8-10 minutes walking distance to the beautiful beach and town center. My fiancée and i loved the apartment and Lido Marini, the host was very friendly and is always there to help if needed. She even surprised us with some Italian goodies, spaghetti and tomato sauce (we cooked it ourselves). We can recommend this apartment for couples.

Very close to beautiful beaches : they have a cooperation with a RottaCapozza beach club, where you can get a free bed ¶ssol - perfect! They also have a transfer to the beach , which can be very convenient when it is busy in the summer . Quiet and comfortabel, clean, nice personel. Nice pool and shaded sunbeds. I surely recommend it .

The rooftop terrace is amazing. You have a great view and also the equipment is really great so that you can relax, eat and even take a shower. The apartment is also very nice and you can feel the love for detail. Ornella & her family are lovely hosts. They do everything that you have a great stay in Salento.
