In my opinion, Locorotondo is the best town to visit in Valle d'Itria! It is certainly the most picturesque and sits on top of a hill which looks out to Martina Franca. The selection of cafes, bars and restaurants is great, with lots of options. Parking in these "white old towns" is always tricky but we found free parking by the football stadium just a short walk away. The churches were very interesting but sadly we visited in winter and not much was open in the old town itself.
