The hotel was awesome. Very close to the city center. The bus station for Venice was nearby. The staff was very friendly. The room was very cozy, warm and clean. It has free parking and very safe. We had anything we needed. I recommend it.

Exceptionally clean room and wc, air conditioner included. It was pretty quiet during our stay. Great location (4 minutes to walk to bus stop). Private parking just in 50 meters with enough space, that is closed at night (but accesible for guests). In fact, there are public parking slots just at the entrance, all available, probably due quiet street, and we were at high season weekend. Very friendly and helping staff!

    Marghera is an ugly, industrial port city close to Venice. Nobody travels to that region to see Marghera, obviously Venice is the attraction. Our cruise was departing and returning to Marghera. This is why we stayed there.

    Marghera is very close and accessible to the center of Venice. The neighborhood is pleasant and quiet, and yet, stores and transportation are very close by. Restaurant are also close, but it was nice to have breakfast at Dear Venice Bed and Breakfast.

    The hotel was only a short walk to the railway station which was a priority for me as I took the train to main island of Venice everyday of my stay. I felt safe walking back to the hotel at night on my own.

    Great place to stay if you want to visit Venice on the cheap. There was a lovely pizzeria down the road called 'Pizzeria Al Calesse'. They did the best pizzas and Italian food we eat on our stay. The staff were very friendly and spoke English. Great value and amazing food. Also, there was a lovely English style pub called 'MARCIANO PUB MARGHERA', which did many beers and served burgers.

    Hotel Roma was where my partner and I stayed.

    Hotel Roma was where my partner and I stayed. We felt it was perfect for what we came to Marghera for - to visit Venice. If you want to stay close to Venice, but not actually IN Venice, this hotel was perfect for that. It's a 1-2 block walk away from the closest bus stop to get you in/out of Venice without the hustle and bustle of a tourist hotspot. The complimentary breakfast was also worth waking up early for.

    Staff is really helpful and nice. The room is simple but clean and comfortable. The breakfast spread is not bad, standard hotel fare. Location is quite good, you can get to bus stops which take you into the Venice central area. However you need to either go very early or later toward the afternoon otherwise it might be fully packed with tourists entering the city... I think it was good value to stay in Marghera, very quick and convenient to get to Venice by public transport.

    Perfect for a couple of nights while visiting Venice on a budget. Easy to get to Venice using public transport (train and bus both nearby). Beds were comfortable enough and the room was clean and quiet. Staff dealt efficiently with a request and were friendly. They work hard to keep the hotel clean. It was great to have the bathroom ensuite, although it is very small. This was no problem for us, but if you are on the larger side then it might be a bit of a squeeze!

    We had a one-night stay in this hotel before continuing our roadtrip. The staff is friendly and helpful! The photos looked a bit better than the hotel; some areas need renovation. One of the rooms we booked looked a little better, but had a broken AC wall controller. The breakfast was decent. The price and location are very good, there are some restaurants nearby and it's very close to the bridge to Venice, which was our main reason for the choice.

    A beautiful hotel with a nice garden, clean, comfortable rooms. The breakfast was rich (coffee/capuccino/, yoghurt, fruits, cakes...). The service was very nice and welcoming. The air conditioning in the room was efficient. We stayed 2 nights and we could keep in the hotel fridge something for the road. It is very convenient as location if you want to go to Venice. The advice from the personnel concerning the way of transportation was very helpful
