Transport to and from Malpensa airport is cheaper and quicker by bus rather than train, if travelling locally by train e.g. Bergamo. Get a ticket from the Transnord office (green signage) preferably the day before! The big guys like Trenitalia will just send you there. Milan is really amazing, i spent 4 days there with lots of sightseeing and activities, but still it was not enough as still left lots of thing to see and to do. The thing i did not like is city is not much clean and lot of rubbish, really few rubbish containers and small ones that is not enough considering much people visiting city. Was surprised that around 10 pm everybody was trying to reach home quickly and streets were quite empty when in my country of Georgia Black Sea Region at 10 pm evening just starts. What a beautiful, elegant city.
What a beautiful, elegant city. Tree lined streets and fairytale housing. Almost all the buildings were decorative in some way. The Duomo is absolutely stunning! Too busy. Lots of graffiti and overflowing bins. Lots of lovely restaurants however very limited for lunch or snacks. Ok if you wanted a meal during the day. Very limited Gluten Free options, and not all restaurants had that option. Very little tourist information. No signs to direct to anything, so you had to rely on the internet or guide books.
