This property amazing! We got there on a special celebration day in modica so it was very noisy with fireworks… till 1am !! But the view is extraordinary! To stay here and at Matera the views were remarkable Can’t believe the value ! I love Sicily and this place was fantastic!

The breakfast was very good. The breakfast room had some great rainbow prisms that added additional beauty to the room (pictures below). The artwork was a pleasure to see. There are A LOT of steps going down to the main road, but the views of the town and church (from the top and bottom) were incredible. The staff were great, the room were very unique, and it was a great location.

Modica is a very old town on South-east Sicily, quite important for her history and baroque architecture. Getting around is easy, if you like to walk a lot! There are a lot of stairs and climbings to get to Modica Alta, but it's worth. Food is very good and there are still restaurants with good prices. From Modica you can reach the beach in half an hour by car, and you can also visit several good natural spots (like Riserva Naturale di Pantalica, Cavagrande, Vendicari) just driving one/two hours. Good craftwork as well, especially ceramics.

Modica is a must-see if you are visiting the south of Sicily. The rich architecture majestically adorns the hills that surround the centre. The quaint streets and stunning views are simply idyllic. We were lucky enough to visit during the Easter festivities which really highlight the spirit of Sicilian culture. You are spoilt for choice with restaurants - wherever you go the food is exquisite and the service is warm and friendly.

Modica is really cleaned and has beautiful big streets. We could visit it just by walking around. Everything was close: shops, restaurants, train station. It's family friendly. Their specialty is the meat chocolate. They have a Bubble Tea shop.

Modica is a good base to visit not only the town itself, but also the other nearby Baroque towns in the area - Ragusa, Noto and other smaller less well-known towns. It is a smaller town and appears to be less busy than the others - parking is easier for example and there is a good urban bus service (Modica is a hill town!).

Itria Modica owner really helped with choice of a restaurant on busy Saturday night. Ragusa Ibla and Modica were both interesting and quite contrasting visits. Particularly loved the hotel....views amazing and pure quality at an affordable price

Modica town is quaint and has lots to offer to the tourist.

Modica town is quaint and has lots to offer to the tourist. It can best be explored on foot though you will need a car to go from Modica alta to the lower area of Modica. Modica has many churches and eateries as well as shops and the narrow streets are fascinating and always offering lovely surprises. It is a hilly town so not ideal for the elderly tourst to get around unless they get a taxi

The entire set up of the property was ideal for us. The pool is amazing and the grounds very relaxing. Giorgio had a list of great places for buying food and eating out - as well as beach recommendations. The unit we stayed in had very thing we needed to self cater and bbq. We just wish that we had booked for longer - as this corner of Sicily has far less tourists and is a bit undiscovered compared to other areas. It’s also very relaxing!

We travel frequently to Sicily and have stayed at a lot of hotels. This hotel was one of the best we've stayed at. The location was perfect for our needs, everywhere we wanted to go was within 30 minutes driving distance. The hotel itself was very well maintained and kept impeccably clean. Staff were all friendly and helpful. We will definitely be staying at this hotel again.

Very comfortable, nice and soundproof bedroom. Very good choice for breakfast. Excellent idea to have free water dispensers to reduce plastic bottles and finally having rechargeable soap dispensers to better preserve the environment. This is the first time we saw them since traveling around Sicily.
