Wonderful experience! The property, service and location was perfect. Everyone made us feel like family. The food was delicious. Every morning we started with a beautiful spread to start the day of exploring and wine tasting . We even had dinner on two nights that were great.

Great stay! Very nice hosts and a beatiful remote location. And maybe the best breakfast I ever had at a stay. Also the thermal springs are just a few minutes away, great for a small detour before breakfast.

Let's start with the fact that when you book a one-bedroom house, you book a separate apartment that occupies one floor of a separate house. The house has 2 apartments - on the ground floor and the first floor. It suited for our group of 3 well. The house is in an old-fashioned style, but recently renovated, it stands in a large olive grove right next to the gates of the medieval village of S. Angelo in Colle. The village (walk around will take max half and hour) and its surroundings are very picturesque. There are many wineries around. In the village itself there are even 2 very good restaurants (recommend) and a small shop. If you are going to cook (there are all the conditions for this) - it is better to shop in Montalcino. The apartment is very spacious: a large and comfortable bedroom, a large kitchen with a spacious common dining and lounge area. There is a barbecue area in the garden, where you can relax after a trip on foot or by car around the area. The hostess is very nice and helpful. Check-in and check-out were quick and easy.

Everything was exceptional. Erna was extremely pleasant and always available to answer questions. She helped book restaurants and advised us about local vineyards and other places to see. Castel Brunella is very well located and was like a little paradise to come home to after exploring nearby towns. It is also a short walk to a couple of great restaurants and a small convenience store. The accommodations, the private patio and shared pool were amazing with fantastic views. It was fun to buy local foods and cook a couple of meals at home. The breakfast could not have been better - the selection of food (breads, cereal, pastries, cheeses, meats, fruits, nuts, eggs, etc.) is sure to please all tastes. The staff is very friendly. There is also a washing machine which came in handy as we did not bring a lot of luggage. I loved this place and not only recommend it but would stay here again.

An idyllic place with stunning views. Lovely pool. Apartment was very clean and stocked with breakfast essentials when we arrived. The owners were very warm and welcoming. Really enjoyed our stay here - would definitely consider a return trip!

It was really easy checking in: was given the code to the...

It was really easy checking in: was given the code to the keys, and a video showing exactly how to get to our accommodation. Leaflets/ notices inside were easy to follow and explained most of the questions we had. Eli was there to answer questions at any time and was lovely to talk to. The pool was clean, and quiet, and had an amazing view, with sun beds. The apartment itself was lovely and had fans to cool down. All utensils were provided, with a fridge too! It would have been nice to have a microwave, but didn’t stop me being able to cook anything.

The attention, availability, and kindness of our host, Eli, who answered every question and answered every doubt, were outstanding. A dreamy little village! We loved the seclusion! Absolute peace and quiet, an excellent restaurant. What more could you want! And for everything else, many other Tuscan cities are within easy reach.
