All the lovely things other people have written about this accommodation are true and if I were you - looking for an authentic, comfortable, charming and lovely place to stay in the Italian countryside - I would book a room here without taking too long to consider whether it would be a good idea. It would be. I actually live 25 minutes away - in a tiny village - and I stayed just one night here, on New Year's Eve, to avoid the fireworks right outside my tiny house. It was quiet and peaceful, although there were other guests and - from what I understand - the dining room downstairs was full. Carlo and Carla are the loveliest people - friendly and helpful; surely that makes a huge difference when you are travelling in a foreign country - and especially if you are alone. I did not eat dinner in the restaurant, but breakfast was lovely with great cornetti and lovely jams and great coffee and a reasonable assortment to suit differing European tastes. The room was scrupulously clean; the heating worked well. The view from my bathroom was glorious - looking down over the farms and to the hills beyond. I have read reviews of a somewhat dodgy road down to the property that I found somewhat mystifying. I am always slightly anxious about Italian roads - as they can be perilous to say the least; however, there is nothing troubling about access to the property. This is a lovely place to stay and, if I could, I would return in a flash. Grazie mille, Carlo e Carla.

This is a beautiful region of Italy. It is remote and can only be reached by car or bus. I was in town for a concert in Servigliano. It took a bit of coordination to figure out how to get there easily. I enjoyed how quiet it was and would have liked to stay longer than overnight. The sunflower fields are beautiful.

The Fermo region is magnificent, with a landscape of verdant hills, olive groves, and vineyards, and historic villages perched atop their hills. In the warmer months, swimming in the sea is easily accessible, as it's only a 30-40 minute drive away. Alternatively, hiking in the mountains is just an hour's drive away.

We own a family holiday home in the neighbourhood of the hotel. There happened to be an overlap in departure and arrival from family members in our house, so we decided to book a hotel in the neighbourhood for one night. Friendy staff who proposed to wait for us despite arriving (too) late (23:15) for check-in. Nice spacious premium room and bathroom with separate shower. Excellent value for money!

Casa San Ruffino is a fantastic place. The hosts Carina and Peter makes you feel extremely welcome. Dinner is great. Breakfast is one of the best hotel breakfasts I've had (maybe the best). Rooms are very nice and so is the pool area. A lot of small medieval cities in the area. If you look for a relaxing vacation, this is the place to go.

Montegiorgio is a very quiet hilltop town. The location of the B&B is in the old town and very hilly to reach. A very charming house with splendid views, balcony and a small garden (that we did not visit). Renovated in a nice way, comfortable beds, stylish bathroom, very clean!
