Lots to see by bicycle or a short car drive in the local hills. Stay close to the station for easy rail journeys to Ferrara, Bologna, Padua, Venice .

It was a run down town that only catered to people wanting to swim in the spa pools in the hotels. the hotels could have been placed anywhere including a city centre - the local surroundings were very residential and un-interesting.

Montegrotto Terme is the perfect place where any body can enjoy and relax during all seasons. Very friendly natives, excellent pools, best location to easily reach most beautiful cities of Italy like Venice etc. it’s very nice to make walks and bike trips.

The pools are splendid and remain open till very late. The breakfast is just exceptionnal. One of the best we have had, namely an amazing choice of fresh fruits. The food at the restaurant is delicious. The drinks are not overprized. The staff is friendly. We really recommend the owner to give Cristina a raise, she is absolutely fantastic! The rooms are comfortable and clean, with a large balcony. We will come back and recommand this hôtel to our friends.

There is an amazing family run restaurant next to the hotel and a not lees interesting shopping area on the same street.
