We liked everything about this new and amazing boutique hotel. extraordinary service and staff, they helped us with all our requests throughout the stay. The breakfast and dinner served were very tasty with great local products used. The owner was very kind and gentle. Very clean room and beautiful view. They also left a fresh bottle of water in the fridge for us. Location is convenient and very close to Montepulciano and Chianciano.

    Many shops and great restaurants,historical buildings,especially churches. Not a far drive from many other spots like Forance, Sienna, etc. And it's in the middle of wine country! Parking can be a problem

    This trip was only a week, but I have stayed here twice...

    This trip was only a week, but I have stayed here twice before for 3-4 weeks each time. I don't rent a car (but that is a good option). Instead, I use the local buses. The bus to Chuisi is frequent, and from Chuisi you can catch the train to Firenze, Rome, or elsewhere. There are lots of Etruscan museums in the area.

    Beautiful, historic town with stunning architecture, lots of good restaurants and some good art galleries. Far less crowded than other Tuscan cities. The wine is exemplary, of course. And Il Sasso is a great language school

    Montepulciano is a lovely old hilltop town.

    Montepulciano is a lovely old hilltop town. It has wonderful views over the countryside (and to other towns) as well as excellent restaurants, shops, and local wine cellars (in caves under the town). The local wine is excellent! It is walkable with very little traffic allowed, but also has quite a hill within it, so be prepared to walk up and down hill if you visit! It also is a good place to stay and to travel to other picturesque towns nearby, such as Piensa (truly lovely) or Montalcino (also famous for its own wine). Being a hilltop town, the train does not stop right in Montepulciano. We stopped at nearby Chiusi-chianciano train station, where we could rent a car just across the street.

    Great hilltop town to visit.

    Great hilltop town to visit. Once you know where to park your car, all things seem easy. Very crowded. Many cafes and restaurants options. It’s a good place to go if you like to walk, and hike the steep road.

    Alessandro, the host, was fantastic. Assisted us in so many ways. He made arrival easy with great instructions. The location was very central in the older part of Montepulciano, on the Piazza Grande. The house is a little part of old Italy. I selected it for my wife's 60th Birthday and she said it was like staying at a 'Nonna's house'. The views from the windows and from the terrace over Tuscany were unreal.

    Very friendly and helpful hosts. Delicious breakfast, the best we had in the last 2 weeks of travelling around Sardinia, Corsica and Tuscany spending 1 night in each accommodation. Spacious room with a balcony with a beautiful view on Montepulciano. Great location - close to Montepulciano and shop. Out of the main road, surrounded by olive trees. Cute cats at the property. Safe private parking.

    Everything was great !!! This was beatiful, arranged with perfect taste apartment with two bedrooms. One of the best places I've ever been. Perfect for Montepulciano and Tuscany. You can feel the atmosphere of ancient Italy. Total reccomendation :)
