Very nice new facilities in an historic building. The room is modern and the provided breakfast is the best I've had in Italy. I am walking the Francigena, so to get there you have to go off a bit over some busy roads to get there. Not the safest. But once there, it's top notch. I also enjoyed the bar. (I didn't have dinner)

Cristina, our host and the daughter, was amazing. She spoke in perfect english, was funny, helpful, kind and easy going. The location was beautiful and accessible, has lots of parking. The furtniture was new and comfortable and the TV was big. They have a common room in the lobby where we had our morning (amazing) coffee. We liked everything about our stay here.

We didn't want to leave. The people hosting are so kind and welcoming. They have put an incredible amount of love into this place. It's just absolutely beautiful, every detail. Also I have to say it's a perfect place to come with kids. There is a playground and so many cute animals roaming around. Lovely breakfast (eggs, bread, cheese, musli, yogurt, etc.)

    The scenery in this area is beautiful - all villas are very special situation on hillsides with glorious views and tranquility. The town is a small, working town, not a tourist attraction. It is not as special as some of the ancient Tuscan towns, but this means it is less busy. Not many choices of restaurants, just basic pizza, but enough local produce is available to cook in the peace of the apartments at all the villas.

    This was the most amazing and unique stay of our 3 weeks in Italy. It is run by 3 generations of family. All very passionate about providing an outstanding experience to guests. Felt like home from the moment we arrived. We'll be back with the rest of our family. The property is located a few minutes away from the town of Monteroni d'Arbia. Most importanly it is so central to visit Siena, Montepuliciano, Pienza, San Quirico d'orca and Montalcino and the hot springs at Bagno San Filippo.

    We were very pleased.

    We were very pleased. The host and hostess were so welcoming and patient with us despite our inability to speak Italian. Very gracious. They gave us a great recommendation to the winery, Santa Giulia winery—wine very much in keeping with our taste, a great education in wine making in the region from our hostess. Santa Giulia is a winery run by a beautiful family upholding a multi generational tradition. We drank wine to children laughing throwing water balloons. Il Canto di Sole treated us well and fed us like family. Very high praises.

    Stunning tranquil place in Tuscany. Old traditional style building . Very friendly welcoming and helpful staff. Food was delicious in the restaurant , drinks on the terrace so beautiful. Loved our stay

    This place, typically located on top of a little hill, is just awesome…the beautifully renovated 500-year old Building with fantastic Rooms/Beds and such a nice pool…everything combined makes you feel like you were in a Tuscany Dream 😊. The Breakfast is just sooo delicious…homemade just about everything 😊. Finally…If you’re into Gravel-Bikeriding like we are, you won’t find a better spot to start your loops into Strade Bianche or L‘Eroica 🚴🏼‍♀️🚴🏽‍♂️🥰
