Luca is very charming, helpful and knowledgeable! He told us all about what to do in the area, how to get there, where to park etc. His wine bar is second to none and we go to try some of the best Italian wines and spirits - no nasty cheap stuff. The property is very sustainable and supporting local producers which you can experience during a delicious breakfast. We will be back for sure to explore mountains bay bike. The town of Morbegno is justly so lovely with excellent places to eat and stroll around. A first class local stay!

    Morbegno is a convenient place to stay in the Valtellina area. We travelled here from Menaggio on Lake Como . On the way we went on a small detour to see the Acquafraggia waterfalls and the amazing Palazzo Vertamate Franchi. We took a nice day trip from Morbegno to the Gerola Alta to visit the Bitto cheese museum . When departing we were needing to get to Tirano in the morning to get on the spectacular Bernina Express train. This was a convenient place to travel from .

    From the second we arrived, we loved our stay.

    From the second we arrived, we loved our stay. The hosts were extremely gracious and accommodating, the "palace" and grounds were simultaneously ancient and beautifully renovated and clean. There were so many top-notch nature walks, hikes and local farms for us to enjoy in the area. I think we might want to get married here in the future.

    The welcome was warm and friendly and the host was very approachable and helpfull. We liked the parking spaces just in front of the door. And that's where the car could stay as you are in the middle of the town and can walk. The rooms were nice and clean.

    Wonderful hotel, very clean and neat. Breakfast was very rich and delicious, coffee was amazing. The bed was very comfortable, the room and bathroom were very modern combined well with traditional interior design and exceeded my expectations. The hosts were more than kind and friendly.     Wow. What a find. Is this wine bar with rooms above, or a hotel with a cool wine bar and inviting courtyard. Unbelievably warm welcome, amazing vibe, beyond perfect rooms. Best breakfast ever with fresh baked goods, barista perfect coffee.
